DISAPPOINTED

 

Healing is unequivocally one of the most controversial topics in Christiandom today...

…mainly due to the question satan STILL subtly poses:

"Can it REALLY be that GOD HAS SAID...?" (Gen3:1AMP)

 

 

Now unsure of the reality of God’s WORD, we've all but stopped praying for one another…

                …fearing either DISAPPOINTING someone

…or being DISAPPOINTED.

                …What if it doesn't work?

 

 

We would never come right out and say God is a liar... but over time our actions and speech betray our true heart. (Mtt22:34)

 

 

Jesus explains this process in a parable about a sower and THE SEED.

 

Mk4:13-15NKJV 

"The sower sows THE WORD... 

…Satan comes immediately 

and takes away THE WORD

that was sown in their hearts.

 

 

He goes on to say...

·         tribulation or persecution arises FOR THE WORD'S SAKE" (Mk4:17NKJV)

·         the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in CHOKE THE WORD, and it becomes unfruitful (Mk4:19NKJV)

 

 

The scheme of the devil has always been to steal THE WORD (Mk4:15)

or somehow make it “of no effect” in your life (Mk4:19)

 

 

WHY?

 

 

JESUS CHRIST IS THE WORD (Jn1:1-10)

 

*"IN HIM (THE WORD) we live and move and have our being..." (Acts17:28NKJV)

*IN HIM (THE WORD) we "have life… more abundantly" (Jn10:10)

*"IN HIM (THE WORD) dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily" (Col2:9NKJV)

 

 

Nullify CHRIST, THE WORD... 

…leaves you “having a form of godliness but denying its power” (2Tim3:5NKJV)

 

You have no armor of God at all! (Eph6:13-17)

·         NO HELMET OF SALVATION…

 [THE WORD guards our mind that WE ARE SAVED – SOZO (Greek) - to be freed, delivered, get on well, prospered,

HEALED, MADE WHOLE]

·         NO BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS…

[we have been made the righteousness of God IN CHRIST JESUS (THE WORD) 2Cor5:21]

·         NO BELT OF TRUTH ...

["THY WORD IS TRUTH" (Jn17:17KJV)]

·         NO GOSPEL OF PEACE on our feet…

[“HE HIMSELF is our PEACE” (Eph2:14)]

·         NO SHIELD OF FAITH…

[“By this faith you are SAVED [SOZO]…

…if you hold firmly to THE WORD” (1Cor15:2AMP)]

·         NO "SWORD OF THE SPIRIT...

…which is THE WORD OF GOD!" (Eph6:17NKJV)

 

 

But… how are WE to live?

                “…BY EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS FROM THE MOUTH OF GOD!” (Mtt4:4NKJV)

 

WE are to be “those who

HEAR THE WORD, 

ACCEPT IT,

BEAR FRUIT…" (Mk4:20NKJV)

 

 

 

YHWH SPEAKS through Isaiah DECLARING what CHRIST (THE WORD) will fulfill:

"Surely, He has borne our griefs (Hebrew: disease, sickness, grief, malady)

And carried our sorrows (Hebrew: pain)…
…And by His stripes WE ARE HEALED" (Isa53:4-5NKJV)
                [by whose stripes YOU WERE HEALED." (1Pet2:24NKJV)]

 

 

1Pet2:6AMP “…AND HE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM [whoever adheres to, trusts in, and relies on HIM] 

WILL NEVER BE DISAPPOINTED...”

 

 

Rom10:11AMPC "…NO MAN who believes in HIM…

…will [ever] be put to shame or be…

…DISAPPOINTED."
