THE IMPACT

 

 

Someone said something that has really stuck with me!

 

·         "Joseph didn't preach sermons…

o   …he managed an economy.

·         Daniel didn't pastor a church…

o   …he advised kings.

·         Esther didn't lead worship…

o   …she influenced government.

·         Nehemiah wasn't traveling as an evangelist…

o   …he rebuilt systems.

·         Lydia wasn't leading a ministry team…

o   …she was a businesswoman funding the Kingdom."

 

 

These were not second-tier believers.

 

They were not less spiritual.

 

They were not waiting for "real ministry."

 

 

Let's uncover something that seems to be a mystery behind what we generally identify as "THE CALLING".

 

 

God doesn't just CALL people...

       ...He positions them. 

And if you don't understand positioning, you'll misunderstand your purpose.

 

 

Because we've been taught to value visibility more than IMPACT...

       ...we celebrate platforms...

…but God celebrates who you are.

 

 

You don't have to look for platforms.

God is more interested in where He places you than where people see you.

His purpose is EFFECT and IMPACT.

                               ...and that IMPACT directly affects INFLUENCE.

 

 

 He believes that WHEREVER He sends you… like a stone into water… THE IMPACT will cause a ripple effect… waves… having far greater repercussions… reaching further than just the initial drop.

 

 

God so loved the world that He sent His "monogene"(Jn3:16)… a specific gene from Him that singularly produced YOU... as a son!

 

 

 

He chose you. (Jn15:16)

 

He delights in you (Zeph3:17)

 

He is ever mindful of you (Ps115:12)

 

You are the apple of His eye. (Zech2:8)

 

You are engraved on the palm of His hand (Isa49:16)

 

 

 

He trusts the way He has formed and fashioned you.

 

He believes in the process through which He has created who you are.

 

He has never once looked at you and wished you were someone else.

 

 

“But now, thus says the LORD, who CREATED you, O Jacob,

And He who FORMED you, O Israel:

 ‘Fear not, for I have redeemed you;

I have called you by your name;

You are Mine.’” (Isa43:1NKJV)

 

 

God so loved THEM... 

       ... HE SENT YOU!

 

                …not TO DO anything…

                                …but TO BE!

 

 

It is not about what you do...

 

       ...but WHO YOU ARE!

  SPLITTING HEIRS   Rom8:16-17 “…We are children of God, and if children… …heirs of God …and joint heirs with Christ…”   For some reason I always thought that “joint heirs with Christ” meant that He was inheriting a certain portion, and I inherited a certain portion assigned to me. In other words… I believed we SPLIT the inheritance… Christ getting HIS allotment… and then somehow, whatever was designated as my allotment was given to me as deemed necessary.   However… the word translated “joint heir” [ sugkléronomos] is a compound made up of: 1.          sun : meaning… so closely identified together as completing one another 2.          kleros : lot or portion … inheritance   SO… Christ and I complete one another and are so closely identified as to BE ONE , thus inheriting the fullness of the inheritance TOGETHER … with complete access… no “my portion”… no “my allotment”… no measur...

WHAT YOU ALLOW

  WHAT YOU ALLOW   The age old question, “Why would a loving God LET that happen?”, comes from a very confusing perspective of the sovereignty of God.   The Oxford dictionary defines “LET” as: “ NOT prevent or  forbid ”, but, rather… “ ALLOW . ” …as in, "my boss LET me leave early"                                     …or… “who LET the dogs out?” We wonder why He doesn't intervene to prevent evil from happening, but, then again- most people would rather Him not meddle at all and LET us do what we please.   However, in His sovereignty, God gave dominion over everything on the Earth to MAN!
