NO ONE MORE THAN I

 

 

Insecurity always caused a distorted perspective in my life.

Being performance oriented, I saw “in a mirror dimly” (1Cor13:12NASB95), not worthy of the love and graciousness of God as someone else.

I'm sure I'm not alone in this.

 

Therefore, the following statements may appear arrogant until we realize the complete fulness of what God has created us to be…

…as new creatures in Christ Jesus.

 

 

There is no one more Holy than I

I've been made a partaker of His divine nature (2Pet1:3-4)

 

 

There is no one more righteous than I

I've been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2Cor5:21)

 

 

There is no one more close to God than I

We've all been made nigh by the blood of Jesus (Eph2:13)

 

 

There is no one more perfect than I

He has perfected me forever (Heb10:14)

 

 

There is no one more full of God than I

We are complete [cram, fully supply, make full] in Him (Col2:10)

 

 

There is no one more free than I

Whom the Son makes free is free indeed (Jn8:36)

 

 

There is no one more victorious than I

He always leads us forth in triumph (2Cor2:14)

 

 

There is no one more loved than I

I love Him because HE FIRST LOVED ME (1Jn4:19)

 

 

There is no one more accepted than I

I've been accepted in the beloved (Eph1:6)

 

 

There is no one more healed than I

He, Himself BORE our sickness and disease (Mtt8:17)

and by His stripes we WERE HEALED (1Pet2:24)

 

 

There is no one more delivered than I

I've been delivered from the power of darkness

and translated into the kingdom of God’s Son (Col1:13)

 

 

2Cor3:18NKJV

“But we all, with unveiled face,

beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord,

are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory,

just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

 

As I stand looking intently into the mirror,

…I now see HIM

…FACE TO FACE (1Cor13:12)

 

I no longer see all my old flaws and shortcomings

I see the new creature created IN Christ Jesus (2Cor5:17)

I see GLORY!

It is Christ IN ME the hope of GLORY (Col1:27)

 

 

In the eyes of YHWH

There is no one more glorious than I

 

 

“There is NO ONE MORE… ANYTHING… THAN I”

 

…because it is not I…

 

…but Christ in me!
