WHERE YOU ARE



WHERE YOU ARE

 

Where are YOU seated?

 

 

Eph2:6AMP "And HE RAISED US UP together with Him [when we believed], and SEATED US with Him in the heavenly places, [because we are] in Christ Jesus,"

 

 

DO I ALREADY HAVE ETERNAL LIFE... or am I going to have it someday?

 

Jn3:36NKJV “He who believes in the Son HAS everlasting life..."

 

1Jn5:13ERV “…I write so that you will know that you have eternal life NOW”

 

 

So... when do I have ALL the promises of God?

 

2Cor1:20NKJV “For ALL the promises of God in Him are Yes,

and in Him Amen,

to the glory of God through us.”

 

 

Do I finally have them when I die?

     ...Or do I have them as soon as I believe?

 

 

1Thes5:23NKJV “Now may the GOD OF PEACE Himself sanctify you COMPLETELY; and may your WHOLE SPIRIT, SOUL, AND BODY be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

 

 

Am I sanctified COMPLETELY and preserved  blameless AS A WHOLE… SPIRIT, SOUL, AND BODY... or am I going to be someday only after I die?

               

His appearing only proves…

…I AM... ALREADY

 

 

In our  Western culture and way of thinking we tend to separate... compartmentalize... Keep this house divided asunder...and only one day will I possibly be ONE, WHOLE, UNIFIED CREATURE.

 

But even the Greek word for “SAVED”  is “SOZO”: saved, healed, get on well, prospered,

TO BE MADE WHOLE!

 

AND… the thought, intent, purpose, and motive behind the Hebrew word “SHALOM” (peace) is

TO BE WHOLE!

 

 

SO… is this all just in the Spirit… or does Christ see us as WHOLE in Him?

 

 

 AM I NOT ONE WHOLE NEW CREATURE NOW?

                2Cor5:17AMPC “Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah)

he is a new creation (a new creature altogether)…”

 

 

This is not for someday yonder…

Rom5:17KJV “…they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness

shall REIGN IN LIFE by one, Jesus Christ.”

 

Mtt6:10AMP “Your kingdom come,

Your will be done ON EARTH 

                                                 …AS IT IS in heaven.

 

 

1Cor6:19-20NKJV “…YOUR BODY is the temple of the Holy Spirit…  

…therefore glorify God in your body 

…and in your spirit, 

…which are God's.

 

 

Gal2:20KJV “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith OF the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

 

 

WHAT DOES HE BELIEVE?

 

... I AM a NEW CREATURE in Christ

    ...I AM a son of God

       ...I AM already raised with Him

         ...I AM already seated with Him

            ...I AM ruling and reigning IN LIFE 

               AS ONE in Christ Jesus.

  SPLITTING HEIRS   Rom8:16-17 “…We are children of God, and if children… …heirs of God …and joint heirs with Christ…”   For some reason I always thought that “joint heirs with Christ” meant that He was inheriting a certain portion, and I inherited a certain portion assigned to me. In other words… I believed we SPLIT the inheritance… Christ getting HIS allotment… and then somehow, whatever was designated as my allotment was given to me as deemed necessary.   However… the word translated “joint heir” [ sugkléronomos] is a compound made up of: 1.          sun : meaning… so closely identified together as completing one another 2.          kleros : lot or portion … inheritance   SO… Christ and I complete one another and are so closely identified as to BE ONE , thus inheriting the fullness of the inheritance TOGETHER … with complete access… no “my portion”… no “my allotment”… no measur...

WHAT YOU ALLOW

  WHAT YOU ALLOW   The age old question, “Why would a loving God LET that happen?”, comes from a very confusing perspective of the sovereignty of God.   The Oxford dictionary defines “LET” as: “ NOT prevent or  forbid ”, but, rather… “ ALLOW . ” …as in, "my boss LET me leave early"                                     …or… “who LET the dogs out?” We wonder why He doesn't intervene to prevent evil from happening, but, then again- most people would rather Him not meddle at all and LET us do what we please.   However, in His sovereignty, God gave dominion over everything on the Earth to MAN!
