You may have heard about THE LAW OF ATTRACTION.  

It has long been considered at the core of self-help books and the empirical concept touted by most motivational speakers since the term first appeared in print in the book "Isis Unveiled" (1877), by Helena Blavatsky.

Since then, we've had major best-sellers including:

“Think and grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill 1937

“The Power of Positive Thinking” by Norman Vincent Peale 1952

…ETC…

 

 

Wikipedia states: THE LAW OF ATTRACTION is the “New Thought” spiritual belief that positive or negative thoughts bring positive or negative experiences into a person's life. (Whittaker, 2007, Guy, 1999).

 

But the “LAW OF ATTRACTION” is not a new law… not a new concept or idea.

 

The natural LAW OF ATTRACTION was first noted by Greek philosopher Thales of Miletus around 600 BCE, observing lodestone attracting iron, leading to the word “MAGNET” from the region of Magnesia.

MAGNETS come in two main types:

·        Permanent magnets: These keep their magnetic power all the time.

·       Electromagnets: These only work when electricity flows through them.

 

There are certain things you will attract all the time… NATURALLY… because of what you believe.

 

If you believe you are a VICTIM… Everyone is out to get you. 

Every boss wants to make sure you fail. 

The government did this… the city did that…

Every circumstance seems to prevent your success.

No one else is right… the whole WORLD is against you.

“As he thinks in his heart, so is he” (Pr23:7NKJV)

You don't doubt it in your heart…

…and you will have what you say! (Mk11:23)

 

BUT… WHEN POWER FLOWS THROUGH YOU… filled with the Spirit of the Living God… endued with HIS POWER and might…       

…NOW you see from the perspective of Christ…

…seated at the right hand of the Father in Heavenly places…

…You NOW HAVE the mind of Christ. (1Cor2:16)

…You are a VICTOR!

… you will ONLY ATTRACT what you were created for…

                  …ALL THE PROMISES OF GOD (2Cor1:20)

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
