DUE SEASON
DUE SEASON
The Word of God is not only “the sword of the Spirit" (Eph6:17), but it is also called “THE SEED” (Mt13:22; Mk4:14).
THE SEED always has the power within itself to reproduce after its own kind.
For instance, an apple seed produces, not just apples, but a TREE that produces a crop of apples.
What crop do you want in your life? Then you plant THE SEED of the type of crop you desire.
Do you want things of the Spirit of God in your life?
…then plant the WORD of God… THE SEED that will produce and keep producing the desired fruit.
Gal6:8AMP “For the one who sows to his flesh [his sinful capacity, his worldliness, his disgraceful impulses] will reap from the flesh ruin and destruction, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.”
“Does the farmer plow continually to plant seed?
Does he continually turn and harrow the ground?
Does he not level its surface
And sow dill and scatter cummin
And plant wheat in rows,
Barley in its place and rye within its area?
For his God instructs and teaches him properly. (Isa28:24-26NASB95)
Isaiah goes on to say that you plant each is in its place, because you harvest each differently.
Your Father teaches you where to plant THE SEED needed to produce what's desired… and then instructs you how to harvest so it doesn’t damage the crop.
Gal6:7KJV “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
“SO IS THE KINGDOM OF GOD,
as if a man should cast SEED into the ground;
And should SLEEP, and rise night and day, and the SEED should spring and grow up,
he knoweth not how.
FOR THE EARTH BRINGETH FORTH FRUIT OF HERSELF;
first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.
But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.” (Mk4:26-29KJV)
You put THE SEED into THIS EARTH… this body… this situation… IT WILL PRODUCE! First a little glimpse of it, then you see it growing. Finally, it is ripe, and you harvest.
You have no idea how it happened.
…You were at rest.
It is the nature of THE SEED in your earth to produce.
“SO WILL MY WORD BE which goes forth from My mouth;
It will not return to Me empty,
Without accomplishing what I desire,
And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.” (Isa55:11NASB)
Gal6:9 “…for in DUE SEASON we shall reap, if we faint not.”
