SUCH AS I HAVE


 

“SUCH AS I HAVE, GIVE I THEE” (Acts3:6KJV)

 

The disciples of Christ believed they already HAD something.

 

And if they HAD it… they could give it away. 

 

They were simply stewards of a vast deposit of riches entrusted to them to freely distribute so they could demonstrate the power, rule, reign, authority, and dominion of a greater King with a greater Kingdom.

 

Acts3:6–7KJV: “Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but SUCH AS I HAVE give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.  And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and IMMEDIATELY his feet and ankle bones received strength.”

 

What did they HAVE?

 

What do WE HAVE?

 

Lk17:21KJV “…behold, the KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU”

 

Col1:27KJV “CHRIST (The Messiah, Anointed One) IN  YOU, the hope of glory:”

 

Rom8:11KJV “But if THE SPIRIT of him that raised up Jesus from the dead DWELL IN YOU, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by HIS SPIRIT THAT DWELLETH IN YOU”

 

So…

 

We already have deliverance, healing, wholeness and “ALL THINGS that pertain unto life and godliness…. BECAUSE OF HIS DIVINE POWER THAT WORKS WITHIN US (2Pet 1:3NKJV)

 

You are SAVED!

 

That word, “SAVED" is always translated from the Greek word, “SOZO" – Which means:  to be healed, delivered, made free, prospered, to get on well, to be whole.

 

So you are already have:

·       HEALING

·       DELIVERANCE

·       PROSPERITY

·       WHOLENESS

·       ABUNDANT LIFE

·       ALL SUFFICIENCY IN ALL THINGS (2Cor9:8;3:5)

·       THE POWER OF THE MOST HIGH WHO DWELLS WITHIN YOU.

 

Just as they were sent out as ambassadors of a different Kingdom… as sons of a more powerful King…

…WE, too, are sent forth into the world with the commission:

“And as ye go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils.” (Mtt10:7-8KJV)

 

Christ, having ALL AUTHORITY in Heaven and on Earth, ends Mtt10:8 with the command…

“FREELY YE HAVE RECEIVED, FREELY GIVE.”

 

SUCH AS YOU HAVE…

…NOW GIVE

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
