BEGGING FOR WHAT IS ALREADY YOURS
BEGGING FOR WHAT IS ALREADY YOURS
Unfortunately, we continue to perpetuate an inaccurate view of the nature of our Heavenly Father and His New Covenant.
It’s so easy to get complacent, “making the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition” (Mtt15:6KJV)… “Having a form of godliness, denying the power thereof” (2Tim3:5KJV)
“Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth,
and honoureth me with their lips;
but their heart is qfar from me.
But in vain they do worship me,
teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” (Mtt15:6-9KJV)
“For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance.” (1Thess1:5KJV)
I hear a lot of high-profile leaders speaking about how we are to ask God… and keep on asking… realizing that He is Sovereign… ultimately deciding who gets what… when… or IF ever.
That is a lot like:
“the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. (Job1:21KJV)
TRUE… it is in the Bible..
but was it a true statement?
It was an inaccurate declaration about God from one of Job’s friends.
These doctrines are usually taught in the aftermath of battles with sickness, disease, or even loss of a loved one… from their perception… that no matter how much you may want the healing… or whatever… it might not be in HIS WILL.
TRUE… He is not our personal genie granting what WE wish.
BUT… HIS WILL IS:
HE ALREADY PUT
ALL our sickness, pain, and disease upon Christ…
WITH all our sin…
2000 years ago! (Isa53)
“By whose stripes you WERE HEALED!” (1Pet2:24KJV)
We don’t have to ask/ beg…
Trying to move the hand of God to do something…
Or give us anything
which HE has already completed and finished in Christ
and given as a free gift.
What He bore… you don’t have to bear.
What He took… you don’t have to take.
IT’S FINISHED…
DON’T KEEP ASKING!
STOP BEGGING FOR WHAT IS ALREADY YOURS.
“…that which YE HAVE ALREADY hold fast till I come.” (Rev2:25 KJV)
NOW, satan, you can not put on me what God already put on Christ!
I WILL NOT TAKE WHAT JESUS CHRIST TOOK.
I WILL NOT BEAR WHAT HE ALREADY BORE.
