BEFORE HIS OWN MASTER
BEFORE HIS OWN MASTER
Rom14:4AMPC “Who are you to pass judgment on and censure another's household servant?
It is BEFORE HIS OWN MASTER
that he stands or falls.
And he shall stand and be upheld,
for the Master (the Lord) is mighty to support him and make him stand.
We never give someone an opinion on what they should or should not do.
…That is usurping the place of their master.
ALWAYS AND EVERY TIME we are to bring them into the accountability of their own master...
...reminding them what HE has said...
....what HE believes.
I've heard it said so many times…
“What you need to do is…”
Or… “If I were you, I would…”
It doesn't matter what WE think THEY should do.
That would be US directing THEM... "comparing ourselves amongst ourselves... which is not wise" (2Cor10:12)
We like to give counsel.
It gives us a feeling of importance.
But there is only ONE MIGHTY COUNSELOR (Isa9:6)
The person to whom we are speaking is the Ark of The Covenant…
The Habitation of God through the Spirit (Eph2:22)
What happened to Uzzah who just tried WITH HIS HANDS to steady the ARK OF THE COVENANT? (1Chr13:9-10;2Sam6:6-7)
1Cor3:16-17,19-20KJV/NASB95 “Do you not know that you are a TEMPLE of God
and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
If any man [defiles] the TEMPLE of God,
God will destroy him,
for the temple of God is holy,
and that is what you are.
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God…
"The LORD KNOWS THE REASONINGS of the wise, THAT THEY ARE USELESS."
“LORD” is defined as:” the one with right of decision” (Strong’s)
Just a reminder: YOU ARE NOT THEIR LORD!
You have no right of decision in that other person’s life.
Giving someone a directive is a privilege and position reserved for ONLY ONE…
…JESUS CHRIST!
…HE, ALONE IS LORD.
If YOU are speaking by the Holy Spirit, YOU WILL NEVER speak or testify of yourself...
…THE HOLY SPIRIT DOESN’T DO THAT! (Jn16:13)
YOU WILL... as the Holy Spirit does...
(Jn14:26) “bring to their remembrance everything CHRIST has taught THEM!”
Because…
…BEFORE HIS OWN MASTER
…HE STANDS OR FALLS
