THINKING DIFFERENTLY

 

 

There seems to be so much pressure to conform to the WAY OF THINKING around us… not just by the society in which we live, but by principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness in this world (Eph6:12)

 

 

Rom12:2Voice “Do not allow this world to mold you in its own image. 

Instead, be transformed from the inside out BY RENEWING YOUR MIND.”

 

                  “…by the washing of water with the word. (Eph5:26NASB95)

 

 

2Cor4:8-9AMP “We are pressured in every way [hedged in], but not crushed;

perplexed [unsure of finding a way out], but not driven to despair; 

hunted down and persecuted, but not deserted [to stand alone];

struck down, but never destroyed;”

 

 

Isa7:4TPT “Give him this message:

‘Stay calm! Be quiet and GUARD YOUR HEART!

Don’t panic or be discouraged…’”

 

 

Pr4:23AMPC “KEEP AND GUARD YOUR HEART with all vigilance… …for out of it flow the springs of life.”

 

 

Pr23:7AMP “For as [a man] THINKS IN HIS HEART, so is he”

 

 

2Cor10:5KJV “CASTING DOWN IMAGINATIONS,

and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God,

EVERY THOUGHT

to the obedience of Christ;”

 

 

Php4:6-7TPT “Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. 

Be saturated in prayer throughout each day…

…then GOD’S WONDERFUL PEACE that transcends human understanding,

WILL GUARD YOUR HEART AND MIND through Jesus Christ.”

 

 

Isa26:3NKJV “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose MIND is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.”

 

 

IT IS A CHOICE!

 

"LET THIS MIND be in you which was also in Christ Jesus:" (Php2:5BSB)

 

 

There is an accuser… the dragon… the serpent…  THE BEAST that desires to rewire THE MIND of this new creature, conforming it to THINK the way of the world. (Rev12:10)

 

 

HOW DO WE OVERCOME THIS BEAST?

 

…by the blood of the LAMB

and the word of our TESTIMONY (Rev12:11)

 

 

As witnesses… WHAT IS OUR TESTIMONY?

 

Jn14:10TPT “…my words are not my own

but come from my Father,

for he lives in me...”

 

I LIVE BY WHAT HE BELIEVES (Gal2:20)

 

 

Php4:8KJV “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, THINK ON THESE THINGS.”

 

 

I AM A NEW CREATURE IN CHRIST (2Cor5:17)

 

 

I NOW HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST (1Cor2:16)

 

 

I THINK DIFFERENTLY!!!

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
