YOUR HERITAGE

 

There are so many doctrines, teachings, and revelations currently flying around the body of Christ… almost like a murmuration of a thousand birds swooping …undulating… flowing in a synchronized, hypnotic aerobatic ballet, captivating the eye and imagination before landing en masse upon its intended target: the mind of the believer.

 

One such topic of discussion swirls around our HERITAGE… our lineage… our ancestry… and ultimately how our inheritance is acquired.

 

In the past decade, multiple new “understandings” have come to light which have subtly, yet intentionally, led sons of God BACK down the path of NATURAL HERITAGE by the law rather than pointing them FORWARD… “giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the INHERITANCE of the saints in the light.” (Col1:12NKJV)

 

The enemy’s purpose has been to cause you to dig into your ancestry… determine “Who are the REAL Jewish people?” …uncover to which tribe of Israel you belong… locate where your ancestors were dispersed when Israel was scattered… discover your identity…

…All the time seeking a NATURAL HERITAGE.

…As though this somehow further solidifies and secures our inheritance.

 

Gal3:3NASB95 “Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?”

 

 

2Cor11:3NKJV “But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”

 

THE SIMPLICITY:

“…UNLESS ONE IS BORN AGAIN,

he cannot see the kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh,

and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

…YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN.” (Jn3:3,6,7NKJV)

 

 

Jn1:12-13NKJV “But as many as received Him,

TO THEM He gave the right to become children of God,

to those who believe in His name: 

who were BORN,

NOT OF BLOOD,

nor of the will of the flesh,

nor of the will of man,

BUT OF GOD.”

 

 

Rom9:8NASB95 “…it is NOT the children of the flesh who are children of God,

…but THE CHILDREN OF THE PROMISE ARE REGARDED AS DESCENDANTS.⁠”

“And YOU brethren, like Isaac, ARE CHILDREN OF PROMISE.” (Gal4:28NASB95)

 

 

1Pet1:3-4NKJV “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

who according to His abundant mercy HAS BEGOTTEN US AGAIN

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
