THE ECHO

 

What is an ECHO?

Is it another voice or sound coming back… or is it THE SAME VOICE… WITH THE SAME WORDS… WITH THE SAME SOUND?

Is it an interpretation of an idea, feeling, style or event… or an *identical replication of its characteristics?

Is it a regeneration of a sound or voice… or *the repeated reverberation after the original sound has stopped?

Jesus Christ is  “THE EXPRESS IMAGE” of the Father… [Heb1:3 Greek: charaktér: Character, EXACT representation, EXACT reproduction, EXACT impression, EXPRESS IMAGE]

·       Jn14:9 “He who has seen Me has seen the Father”

·       Jn8:26 “the things which I heard from Him, these I speak to the world."

·       Jn12:49 “I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me

gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak”

·       Jn5:19 “…whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does IN LIKE MANNER.

·       Jn20:21 “As the father has sent me [and I REPRESENT the father] I ALSO SEND YOU.”

 

He is a stamped out, engraved, exact replication of kind sent to RE-PRESENT the Father.

As the Father speaks… and does… and is… Christ HAS - IS THE ECHO…

…the repeated reverberation of THE ORIGINAL into the Earth.

 

 

In Acts3:6 Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I DO HAVE I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk."…

“DO HAVE” is the Greek word, “ECHO” (To have, to hold, to possess)

 

He is stating that he possesses the exact replication of Christ to continue to accomplish whatever HE SAYS… HE DOES… and WHO HE IS…

He HAS (ECHOES) CHRIST!

                  Col1:27 “Christ in you, the hope of glory”

                  Jn14:12 “…he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also;

and greater works than these he will do...”

                  1Jn4:17 “…because AS HE IS, so also are we in this world.”

 

 

2Cor4:13 “We HAVING (ECHO) the same spirit of faith,

according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken;

we also believe, and therefore SPEAK”

 

Mtt17:20 "…I SAY to you, if you HAVE (ECHO) faith

(even) as a mustard seed,

you will SAY to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move;

and nothing will be impossible for you.

 

 

We are THE ECHO of Christ in this world. What we are endued with… graced with… endowed with… blessed with… THAT WHICH WE HAVE… ECHOES… resonates in every fiber of our being the very power of the WORD… reflecting it back to the Earth.

 

 

Rev2:25 “…hold fast what you HAVE (ECHO) till I come.

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
