FORMING YOUR WORLD
Forming Your World
Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?
How do you get out of THAT?
Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale:
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep.”
The rest of verse 2 begins to show the hope in the midst of the vast void…
“…And the Spirit of God MOVED UPON the face of the waters.”
“MOVED UPON” is from a primitive Hebrew root word meaning: to brood: to hover, flutter, move, shake.
The same Spirit which was there in the beginning… the same BREATH OF LIFE… the same Spirit which raised Christ from the dead… always HOVERS and BROODS over YOU… to bring resurrection power and life into every fiber of your mortal body. (Rom8:11)
So… what happens next?
Since we are made in His image, how do WE create or FORM OUR WORLD?
God had in HIS HEART a thought… an intent… a purpose and motive [def. of LOGOS – THE WORD]
…and out of the abundance of HIS HEART He SPOKE…
“…LET THERE BE…”
Jesus said, “…the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.” (Lk16:8)

Mtt12:34 “OUT OF THE ABUNDANCE OF THE HEART THE MOUTH SPEAKS.”
Your brain is like a computer. YOUR HEART belief system is the program that runs it.
If you keep SAYING that you are not good at remembering names… your HEART doesn’t doubt nor think twice about it… and you won't remember the name of the next person you meet because you have programmed your computer not to.
Pr23:7 “For as he thinks in his HEART, so is he.”
…and because you “DO NOT DOUBT IN YOUR HEART…
…YOU SHALL HAVE WHATEVER YOU SAY” (Mk11:22-23)
So…
1. Change your perspective
…you are seated with Christ in Heavenly places (Eph1:3,20;2:6)
2. Change your way of thinking
…you have been given a NEW HEART (Eze11:19),
…“YOU HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST” (1Cor2:16)
…“LET THIS MIND BE IN YOU” (Ph2:5)
…THEN you will…
3. Change your way of speaking,
…which will FORM YOUR WORLD
