Jude1:1 “…To those who are called,

sanctified by God the Father,

and PRESERVED

in Jesus Christ…”

 

 

“Canning” or “putting up PRESERVES” has almost become a lost art.

 

I remember my grandmother preparing jars and jars of the fruits and vegetable of the season, as well as making many types of jams and jellies… or pickled this and that… just so we could have what was fresh in season ALL YEAR LONG.

 

Hours were spent cleaning and boiling jars, lids, and rings to keep impurities out of each container.

 

The reward?…

 

I can still hear the “pop” of the lid and that fresh aroma of whatever was preserved in that particular jar wafting up to tease our hungry palettes.

 

No matter the time had passed, you could dip in and taste the same fresh vitality in the jar as the day it was sealed… no mold… no rot… no mixture… just the pure essence of the food… of which one may partake…  NO MATTER THE SEASON!

 

 

We are temples of The Most High. (1Cor3:16)

 

 

…A VESSEL… sanctified… useful to the Master, prepared for every good work. (2Tim2:21)

 

 

Arks of the New Covenant…

 

 

Carriers of HIS PRESENCE!

 

 

What do people taste when they come around YOU?

 

 

Do they “taste and see that the Lord is good”? (Ps34:8)

 

 

They should taste the very essence of the Kingdom of God…

…IN SEASON AND OUT OF SEASON (2Tim4:1-2)

 

 

NO MIXTURE…

 

 

No other ideologies, political posturing, racial identities, nor “truths” we espouse and spew forth as gospel.

 

 

Our Father is purifying us so that when He “pops the top” off us… we are revealed… manifested… as Sons of God (Rom8:18-22)

 

 

We are HIS WORKMANSHIP!!! (Eph2:10)

 

 

“Faithful is he that calls you, who also will do it.” (1Thes5:24)

“If you return

[and give up this mistaken tone of distrust and despair],

then I will give you again a settled place of quiet and safety,

and you will be My minister;

and if you SEPARATE

THE PRECIOUS FROM THE VILE

[cleansing your own heart from unworthy and unwarranted suspicions concerning God's faithfulness],

 you shall be My mouthpiece…”

PRESERVED COMPLETE…”

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
