YOUR WORDS

 

 

Why are words so important?

 

 

Mtt12:37 “For by YOUR WORDS you shall be justified, and by YOUR WORDS you shall be condemned.”

 

 

Jesus stated this at the end of a discourse in Mtt12:33-37 on the importance of WORDS…. In which he referred to them as FRUIT…

“Either make the tree good, and his FRUIT good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his FRUIT corrupt: for the tree is known by his FRUIT.

Oh, generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, SPEAK good things?

for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth SPEAKS…

…every idle word that men shall SPEAK, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.”

 

 

Pr18:20-21 “A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue…”

 

 

Pr13:2-3 “A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth…”

 

 

WORDS ARE SEEDS, as outlined in Mtt13 and Mk4. Those same passages also refer to YOU AS SOIL.

 

 

IF YOU DESIRE A DIFFERENT CROP…

                                  …PLANT A DIFFERENT SEED.

 

 

Gal6:7 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man SOWS, that shall he also REAP.”

 

 

Even the world understands this!

Jas3:2-12 is a discourse on the power of THE TONGUE… no man can tame it!

Vs10 “…it defiles the whole body, and it sets on fire the course of nature…”

 

 

Pr11:11 “By the BLESSING of the upright the city is exalted: but it is overthrown by the MOUTH of the wicked.”

 

 

Pr6:2 “Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth…”

 

BUT…

Pr12:18 “…the tongue of the wise brings healing.”

 

 

Micah6:1. “Hear now what the Lord says;
‘Arise, contend before the mountains,
And let the hills HEAR YOUR VOICE…”

 

 

So...

 (Mk11:22-23)

·      “SAY to this mountain... “be removed and cast into the sea!”

·      Do not doubt in your heart...

·      Believe that you shall have whatever you SAY…

·      You SHALL HAVE whatsoever you SAY.”

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
