Stealing Words

 

“Therefore behold,” declares the LORD, “I am against the prophets who steal from one another words they attribute to Me.” (Jer23:30)

 

”They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The Lord saith: and the Lord hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word.” (Eze13:6)

 

At times we get a Word revealed to us… and in our excitement, never digest it ourselves… but as a bird... Regurgitate it into the open mouths of ones around us – when they were words by which WE were to live.

 

The Word comes to us in three levels: 

1.    Revelation – Christ (or something about him) is revealed to us.

2.    Transfiguration – this “mount” transforms our thinking... But… we still say, “let's build something here for Moses (as a law), Elijah (to prophesy it), AND Christ (the manifested Word)”

3.    Manifestation -  the Word finally becomes flesh and dwells among/ in us. Now we can say…

“If you have seen me, you have seen my Father”. (Jn14:9) 

"I have received commandment of what to speak AND what to say". (Jn12:49,50) 

“The words that I speak are Spirit and they are life.” (Jn6:63) 

And speaking by that Spirit… I will not speak of myself. (Jn14:24)

 

We hear something revealed to us and in our excitement… WE GOTTA SHARE IT! 

But that very seed (sperma Mtt13:18-23) never got planted in US to tranfigure our life first... conforming us into HIS likeness and image… manifesting the very character and nature of that seed. 

 

Christ is the EXPRESS IMAGE (Greek: charakter) of Our Father (Heb1:3) 

 

THAT son is sent when he manifests the very character and nature of the Father. 

 

He manifests the WORD (logos – the very thought, intent, purpose and motive behind what is spoken) (Jn1:1-12)

 

Jn3:34 “For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.”

 

Every fiber of his being demonstrates that the Kingdom of God is at hand… right here, right now!

 

No wonder all of creation expectantly waits for these sons to be unveiled! (Rom8:19)

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
