RECALIBRATION

RECALIBRATION

Every person ever used by God has gone through a wilderness experience.

Moses had 40 years following Jethro’s flocks…

Joseph had his jailhouse…

Jacob to Israel… Supplanter\deceiver to Prince of God

Saul to Paul and his time in the desert, now changed from arguing daily in the temple and returning to say, “I don't come to you with enticing words of men’s wisdom (trying to convince), but in demonstration of the Spirit and power” (1Cor2:2-5)

And these are just a few of the people taken from doing what they were doing and how they were doing it…

·       Wrapped in a cocoon

·       “hung out to dry” in a desert place…

·       Transformed into something new by the renewing of their minds (Rom12:2)…

·       Released in power to accomplish the purpose for which they were birthed into the kingdom…

·       For such a time as this (Esther4:14)…

recalibration

noun

to calibrate again

1.     small changes made to an instrument so that it measures accurately for the current time, task, or standard.

2.     re-examining and subsequently changing one's thinking, a plan, a system of values, etc.

Usage: “Literacy standards were in need of constant recalibration, as each new phase of the war could inflate or deflate the value of existing skills, inflate or deflate the effectiveness of existing induction policies and instructional efforts.”

Synonyms: adjusted. amended. changed. developed. Reconfigured. reset

So often we are going through the process and pressure being conformed into the image and likeness of the Messiah - Christ (Rom8:29),

and we keep straining against everything we perceive is holding us back,

when in actuality

we are being TRANSFIGURED from thinking like the mere worm or caterpillar we were…

EVEN WHEN INITIALLY CHOSEN AND SENT!...

(Rom12:2AMP)

“…TRANSFORMED and progressively CHANGED [as you mature spiritually]

by the renewing of your mind

[focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes],

so that you may prove [for yourselves]

what the will of God is,

that which is good and acceptable and perfect

[in His plan and purpose for you].”

RECALIBRATED

…into the creature He predestinated…

2Tim2:21

·       a vessel unto honor,

·       sanctified,

·       meet for the master’s use,

·       prepared unto EVERY good work”
