Rule in The Midst of Your Enemies


 

Ps110:1-2

The LORD said to my Lord, 

"Sit at My right hand, 

Till I make Your enemies Your footstool." 

The LORD shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. 

RULE IN THE MIDST OF YOUR ENEMIES!

 

 

RULE - “radah” 

·       to have dominion, 

·       rule, 

·       dominate, 

·       to prevail against

·       to scrape out of inner parts

(Jud14:9) “…out of the carcass he scraped the honey into his palms.”

 

 

 

MIDST – qereb

·       bowels, entrails, or inward parts as seat of thought, emotion and life

·       at the very heart/midst of a group of people

·       in the heat of the battle at the center of the tumultuous fray. 

 

 

Isa9:5

For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.

 

 

I was once given a vision of being sent on a jungle mission into the enemy’s camp. There was a group of gorilla-warfare type soldiers gathered around a table discussing strategy for the next attack. 

I walked right up behind them as though invisible and peered over their shoulders.

I clearly saw the maps and heard EVERYTHING they were planning…

And walked away undetected.

 

I had just penetrated the very heart of the enemy's operation and was leaving with full knowledge of their strategy, thoughts, strengths, and weaknesses. 

I saw how to defeat every advance…

…And knew where to attack BEFORE their offense was mounted.  

THEIR WEAPONS WOULD NOT PROSPER! (Isa54:17)

 

 

2Cor2:11

“Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: 

for we are not ignorant of his devices.”

[Literal Greek:  “so that we should not be outwitted by satan’s schemes.”]

Schemes:  noema “a thought, purpose of heart, or device/design of the mind.”

 

 

1Cor2:16 “…But we have the mind of Christ.”

We are seated with Him at the right hand of the Father in Heavenly places (Eph2:6)…

“…Far above all power, ruler might and dominion,”(Eph1:17-23)

As one with HIM, we NOW we see from HIS perspective…

Peering into the very heart of the enemy…

Scraping out the bowels of their thoughts and plots…

…dominating and ruling even in the middle of his camp…

Prevailing in EVERY battle and venture…

Because we already know the way the enemy thinks…

And we get there first to possess the land. 

 

1Jn4:17  “…because AS HE (CHRIST) IS, 

SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD.”

 

“…RULE IN THE MIDST OF YOUR ENEMIES!”

  THE DAILY LOAD   “Blessed be the Lord Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation! Selah” (Ps68:19)   The word, “selah” is used throughout the Psalms and other Hebrew music and poetry as a notation similar to “a rest” in our modern music. The Perfect Will of God

  The Perfect Will of God   Rom12:2  “…Do not be CONFORMED to this WORLD , but be TRANSFORMED by the RENEWING of your MIND , that you may PROVE WHAT IS that GOOD and ACCEPTABLE and PERFECT WILL OF GOD .”   I was always taught that there were three different WILLS of God… And you are placed in one WILL or another determined by your maturity level, your faith, and your closeness to God.   However… let's dissect this verse to clearly see the intent behind each part.   ·        CONFORMED – properly means: assuming a similar  outward  form (expression) by following the same  pattern  (model, mold). ·        WORLD - properly, an  age  ( era , "time-span"),  characterized by a specific quality  (type) of existence ·        TRANSFORMED - metamorphóō - changing form or shape in keeping with a transformed inner reality...
