A FEW Healing ways

 

 

FAITH

YOURS:

·       “Be it done according to your faith” (Mtt9:29)

·       “Your faith has made you whole” (Mtt9:22;Mk5:34,10:52;Lk8:48,17:19)

·       “BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be SAVED (sozo - set free, healed, get on well, prospered, made whole).” (Acts16:31)

 

 

THEIRS:

·       “When Jesus saw their faith, he said… Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.” (Mtt9:2;Mk2:5;Lk5:20)

·       ”And these signs shall follow THEM THAT BELIEVE… they shall LAY HANDS ON THE SICK, and they shall recover.” (Mk16:17-18)

 

HIS:

·       “…The life which I now live in the flesh I live BY THE FAITH OF the Son of God” (Gal2:20)

 

THE WORD

·       “MY WORDS… are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.” (Pr4:20-22)

·       “He sent HIS WORD, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” (Ps107:20)

 

CONFESSION  

[homologeo – to speak the same as the WORD (logos- thought, intent, purpose and motive behind what is spoken)]

·       “…if you CONFESS with your mouth the LORD Jesus… believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved (sozo- healed, delivered, made whole, get on well, prosper)” (Rom10:9)

·       “whosoever shall SAY to this mountain, Be removed and cast into the sea; and SHALL NOT DOUBT in his heart… he shall have whatsoever he says.” (Mk11:22-24)

 

AGREEMENT

WITH OTHERS

·       “… if TWO OF YOU SHALL AGREE on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father…” (Mtt18:19)

 

WITH YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER

·       “Surely he HAS BORNE our griefs (affliction, disease, illness), and CARRIED our sorrows (pain)… stricken, SMITTEN OF GOD, and afflicted.” (Isa53:4)

·       “…by whose stripes you WERE healed.” (1Pet2:24)

 

BELIEVING ELDERS

·       “Is any sick among you? let him call for the ELDERS of the church; (to) PRAY over him, ANOINTING HIM WITH OIL in the NAME OF THE LORD: 

*the prayer of faith SHALL save the sick,  

*the Lord SHALL raise him up” (Jas5:14-15)

 

THE TRUTH

·       “You shall know THE TRUTH, and THE TRUTH shall MAKE you free.” (Jn8:32)

·       “…THY WORD IS TRUTH” (Jn17:17)

·       “I am the way, THE TRUTH, and the life” (Jn14:6)

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
