We Do Not War After The Flesh




For though we live in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. 

 

The weapons we have really ARE

 

MIGHTY

 

THROUGH GOD

 

to the PULLING DOWN OF STRONGHOLDS 

 

CASTING DOWN IMAGINATIONS 

 

AND EVERY HIGH (LOFTY) THING EXALTING ITSELF AGAINST THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD (2Cor10:3-5)

 

 

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 

 

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts...”

 

 

“But NOW you have the mind of Christ” (1Cor2:16)

 

 

“…my word… that goeth forth out of my mouth: 

 

·       shall not return unto me void, 

 

·       shall accomplish that which I please, 

 

·       shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” (Isa55:8-13)

 

 

 

Gal2:20

 

“I am crucified with Christ: 

 

nevertheless I live; 

 

yet not I, 

 

but Christ liveth in me: 

 

and the life which I now live in the flesh...

 

I live by the faith of 

 

OF...

 

I LIVE BY THE FAITH... OF

 

the Son of God, 

 

who loved me, and gave himself for me (Gal2:20)

 

I have been crucified…

Then created as a new creature IN CHRIST

 

In HIM I live and move and have my being (Acts17:28)

 

Since I am in HIM, I now live BY HIS FAITH

 

 

Job40:6 MSG – “GOD addressed Job next from the eye of the storm, and this is what he said:

 

[gird up thy loins now like a man]

 

“I have some more questions for you,

and I want straight answers”

 

 

So... 

 

 

What does HE believe about you?

...your spouse?

...the two together?

…your circumstance?

…HIS word concerning HIS work in everything?

 

 

What has HE said?

 

Will that WORD accomplish what He sent it to accomplish… and prosper?

 

Will He let it fall and die?

 

 

We LIVE by what HE BELIEVES

 

 

So...

 

RISE UP!!!

 

"Awake, you sleeper,

arise from the dead, 

and Christ shall give thee light." (Eph5:14)

GIRD UP your loins...

 

“Be strong in the Lord and the power OF HIS MIGHT

 

 

TAKE UP your sword...

 

And all your armor

 

 

STAND UP... 

 

and after having done all...

 

REMAIN STANDING!!!”

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
