THE WAYS OF GOD

 

 

Ps103:7

He made known HIS WAYS unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

 

 

Prov14:12;16:25 

There is a WAY which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

 

 

Deut30:16 

In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his WAYS, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

 

 

Ps95:10

Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known MY WAYS:

 

 

Pr8:32

Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep MY WAYS.

 

 

Heb3:9-12,15 

When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known MY WAYS. So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.) Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

 

 

Isa55:8-11 

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways MY WAYS, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are MY WAYS higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

 

 

Mtt7:21-27

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the WILL of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.  Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

 

 

Jn14:5-6 

Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know THE WAY? Jesus saith unto him, I am THE WAY, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

LET YOUR FRUIT SPEAK?     People say, , “God told me”…  or “Holy Spirit directed me…”or… “this business belongs to Jesus, He tells me what to do!”     WHY?     Why do they preface THEIR works with such statements?     Isn’t it a ruse of the enemy to keep them unapproachable, uncorrectable, and continuing their own way without interference? … ITS INTENT: prevent ANYONE from speaking into them or the situation… After all… “who are YOU to contradict what God has said?”     “Every tree is known by his own fruit.” (Lk6:44) “…by their fruits you shall know them.” (Mtt7:20)   An apple tree does not have to tell you it is one… it just bears apples! …a cherry tree bears cherries.    You can tell a Dogwood Tree by its “Bark”… well… maybe that doesn’t fit the analogy.     If I have to tell you I am a certain type of tree, it is probably because there is NO FRUIT to make identification easy.     “He that speak...

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
