The Kingdom Is Not In Word Only

KINGDOM NOT IN WORD ONLY

 

We often go through life just "making it through", not realizing that as sons of the Living God, we are to demonstrate/show His Kingdom.  

We “witness”, preach,  and try to convince people to come to this NEW LIFE, when there is no sign of our lives being any different than theirs.

Even Paul used to argue daily in the temple until he spent those years on the backside of the wilderness and came back saying,

"And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing (trying to convince) words of man’s wisdom, 

but in DEMONSTRATION of the Spirit and of power: 

That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, 

but in the POWER OF GOD."  (1Cor2:4-5)

Let's remember that THIS "Kingdom of God is not in word, BUT IN POWER." (1Cor4:20)

 

That "He upholds all things by the word OF HIS POWER" (Heb1:3)

"For our gospel came not unto you in word only, 

BUT also IN POWER…” (1Thess1:5)

HOW?

Holy Spirit "endues” (clothes or cloaks as with a garment) "WITH POWER from on high"
(Lk24:49;Acts1:8)

POWER!!!

Greek: DUNAMIS – (from which we get “dynamite”) 

·       act of power” (Young’s); 

·       “miraculous power, ability” (Strong’s); 

·       “natural capability, inherent power; capability of anything, ability to perform any-thing; then, absolutely, not merely power capable of action, but, power in action” (Bullinger’s). 

PROBLEM?

“…Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the POWER of God.” (Mtt22:29;Mk12:24)

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, 

according to the POWER that worketh IN US!” (Eph3:20)

We were born into a Kingdom of POWER!  

       IT IS WITHIN US! (Lk17:21)

              IT’S WHO WE ARE!

...birthed in POWER... Raised in POWER!

Now we are to show that our Father’s kingdom is here at hand!

Mtt10:7-8 "And as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils, set free those who are feeling held captive by a power of darkness!

Freely you have received, freely give".......
