RISE UP!

 

 

Proverbs 24:16 AMP - For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again,

But the wicked stumble in time of disaster and collapse

 

 

To “FALL” here does not mean to simply stumble and fall down. 

 

 

It is translated many other places as:

 

·       Experience calamity (Mic7:8;Ps37:34;Ps145:14); 

·       To faint, falling prostrate at full length (Judges19:26,27;1Sam28:20)

·       attacked (Jer48:32); 

·       ruined (Amos5:2;8:14); 

·       Lie prostrate at one’s feet (1Sam25:24;2Ki4:37)

·       Cause to Fail to accomplish (Josh21:43;23:14;Jud2:19;Est6:10;1Sam3:19)

 

 

Why does “THE RIGHTEOUS MAN” get up again EVERY time he is cast down?

 

 

Because…

He doesn’t have a victim mentality!

He doesn’t see himself as beat down… defeated, attacked, oppressed, weak, diseased, sick, downtrodden, incapable, fallen, loser, failure, sinner, unholy, unacceptable…

 

 

INSTEAD…

 

HE KNOWS HE IS RIGHTEOUS!

 

2Cor5:21 AMPC

For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] {MADE} the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].

 

 

HE KNOWS his God!

 

Dan11:32 “…the people who do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits”

 

 

HE KNOWS his Genesis as a son of God!

 

 

HE KNOWS he is always  victorious in Christ (2Cor2:14)

 

  

HE KNOWS the enemy is a liar (Jn8:44)

… and that he only comes to steal, kill, and destroy (Jn10:6,10)

 

 

The circumstances don’t matter…

Nor do accusations intended to oppress and immobilize you…

 

 

Satan (translated:  accuser) comes IMMEDIATELY to steal the WORD

…from you

…your children

…and your children’s children (Lk8:11-15;Mtt13:18-23;Mk4:13-22)

 

 

That WORD is called the “SEED” [Greek: “sperma”] of God in Mtt13, which WILL reproduce His likeness and image in you… the good soil!

 

 

Not only have you BEEN MADE (created as)

THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD

…in Christ Jesus (2Cor5:21)…

 

 

YOU ARE RESURRECTED IN CHRIST (Rom5:10,6:4,8:11;2Cor13:4;Col2:13;1Thess3:10)

 

 

Rom6:4-5 “…if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His RESURRECTION”

 

…raised in power… raised in glory (1Cor15:14)

 

 

If you have been resurrected in Christ… then…

As it says in Ex12:31…

“…RISE UP… and go, serve the Lord….”

 

 

Heb13:5-6 AMPC  “…for He [God] Himself has said, 

I will not in any way fail you 

nor give you up 

nor leave you without support. 

[I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not 

in any degree 

leave you helpless 

nor forsake 

nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! 

[Assuredly not]!

So we take comfort and are encouraged 

and confidently and boldly say, 

‘The Lord is my Helper; 

I will not be seized with alarm 

[I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. 

What can man do to me?’”

 

 

Romans 8:31

“What then shall we say to these things? 

If God is for us, 

who can be against us?”

 

 

SO…

 

RISE UP!

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
