Ministration of Condemnation VS Ministration of The Spirit



MINISTRATION OF CONDEMNATION VS MINISTRATION OF THE SPIRIT

 

 

“You are living letters written by Christ, 

not with ink 

but by the Spirit of the living God—

…on the tablets of tender hearts 

 

Our ministry is not based on the letter of the law 

but through the power of the Spirit

 

for the letter of the law kills,

but the spirit pours out life. 

 

Even the ministry that was characterized by chiseled letters on stone tablets came with 

a dazzling measure of glory, 

though it produced death. 

 

Yet how much more radiant 

is this new and glorious ministry of the Spirit 

that shines from us”

(2Cor3:3-9TPT)

 

 

Other translations call it:

The Ministry of Condemnation (Old Covenant, the letter, the law, death)

                    …VS…

The Ministry of The Spirit (New Covenant, Righteousness, life)

 

 

Any scriptures can be taught from either Ministration. 

 

 

One produces law/ death, 

while the other begets life/ liberty.  

 

 

“…where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” (2Cor3:17)

 

 

One instructs “what YOU MUST DO”…

 

The other… “what HAS BEEN DONE”.  

 

 

The Holy Spirit…

·       Guides you into all truth (Jn16:13)

·       Reminds you (Jn14:26)

·       Teaches you (1Jn2:27)

·       Speaks through you (Mtt10:20)

·       Convinces you of Righteousness (Gal5:5TPT)

                      [We HAVE BEEN MADE the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. (2Cor5:21)]

 

 

Ministering this NEW COVENANT by the SPIRIT, 

He is speaking through us to edify (1Cor14:26)

the Temple of The Most High… 

YOU! (1Cor3:16) 

 

…always reminding you of your “right standing” with The Father through Jesus Christ. 

 

 

Jesus Christ has “wiped out the handwriting of requirements

that was against us…” (Col2:13-14)

 

 

AFTER HIS RESURRECTION…

 

“ALL THE PROMISES of God 

in Him are Yes, 

and in Him Amen, 

to the glory of God 

THROUGH US.” (2Cor1:20)

 

 

James says the reason we do not live the WORD, is because we looked into that PERFECT LAW OF LIBERTY… as a mirror… 

Saw our “natural face” (Greek: Genesis) 

Saw that we were BORN FREE…

…then straightway forgot who we were!

 

 

I WILL LIVE WHO I BELIEVE I AM… 

 

…loving HIM, 

…Abiding in HIM

…Keeping HIS commands

…Doing the WORD

…Naturally

 

…It’s my nature (Jas1:23-25)

 

 

IT’S JUST WHO I AM!

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
