The Weapons of Our Warfare - IT IS WRITTEN!





 "IT IS WRITTEN..." 

 

…is another non-carnal weapon for a spiritual warfare we sometimes forget we have in our arsenal. 

  

·      "He sent His WORD and healed them and delivered them from their destructions." Ps 107:20

 

·      "my words... Are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh" Pr 4:20-22

 

 

·      They are "... Health to thy navel and marrow to thy bones" Pr 3:5-8

 

·      "... And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is the Word of God, praying always..." Eph 6:17-18

 

 

·      Mt 8:8 "... Speak the word only and my servant shall be healed..."

 

·      "thou art snared by the words of thy mouth" Pr 6:2

 

 

·      "so shall the word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it SHALL accomplish that which I please, and it SHALL prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." Isa 55:12

 

·      "God is not a man that He should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? Or hath He not spoken, and shall He not make it good?" Num 23:19

 

 

·      "sanctify them through thy truth; thy word is truth" Jn 17:17

 

·      "for the word of God is quick and POWERFUL, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart"  Heb 4:12

 

·      "...who, being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, AND UPHOLDING ALL THINGS BY THE WORD OF HIS POWER..." Heb 1:3

 

 

NOTE: It does not say "by the power of His word…

although His word does have power... 

But it says "by the word of his power".  

His word comes forth FROM POWER... 

It carries the very dominion, authority, and explosive miraculous power of God with it!

  

 

In Mt 4 and Lk 4 when Satan, himself, came to him... The weapon of choice Jesus used for that warfare to still the enemy was:

 

 

"IT IS WRITTEN..."

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
