EUNUCHS


 

While pastoring years ago, Christ stood beside me in a vision and unfolded the following scenario:

 

[My wife and I had invited a man to stay with us awhile. We were enthralled with his teaching and the way we were growing. 

 

After about a week off, I had to return to work during the day. I would return in the evening and my wife would fill me in on all that she and our guest had experienced that day. 

 

Over time I noticed she began to talk like him… speaking certain things with the same inflection.

She shared the same ideas in the same manner. . 

She even had the same vision and now reflected his personality!

 

One day I came home and stated, “Hey, Honey… I think we need to go and do this!”

To which she replied, “No… (our guest) said we should do this.”

At this point I became very angry…

and as I turned to the Lord He said,  

“But… that is what YOU have done to MY BRIDE!”

 

1 Corinthians 11:7–9  For a man… is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.

 

A bride is to be the glory of, or reflect HER HUSBAND. 

 

I had usurped the place of Christ as husband to His Bride. 

 

She was reflecting me…

 

…not HIM. 

 

In Old Testament times kings would set eunuchs over their whole household… including the wives, servants, and finances. 

 

The eunuch would ONLY represent the king and his interests. 

 

“…There are eunuchs who were born thus from their mother’s womb, and )there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake.” (Mtt 19:12)

 

Whatever happened to "eunuchs for the Kingdom of Heaven's sake"?

 

Where are THEY who will not touch the Bride (Church) for themselves, but will only prepare her for her Husband, the King?  

 

THEY can not… will not… reproduce after themselves.

 

THEY won’t entice her by their gifts and personality to themselves... 

 

But THEY…

 

WILL ONLY…

 

POINT HER TO HER HUSBAND.

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
