Christ Has Come



Most of our lives we have been trained to think that we need to move the hand of a reluctant God to get Him to fulfill a need.  

We are stuck in an Old Covenant mindset, which always thinks that the promises are yet to be fulfilled, that somehow we are still waiting for something to happen.  

We have been sold a bill of goods that keeps us in a place believing that there is somehow an external force that must move or be engaged upon us to fix a situation, heal this temple, or set this body free from its mental or physical captivity.

 

BUT…

 

What if that Kingdom of God – rule and reign of Christ – is not coming… but is WITHIN YOU? (Lk 17:21)

 

What if Christ – the Messiah, savior – dwells in you mightily? (Eph 3:16-17)

 

What if the same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead IS alive and at work in you right now, quickening… making alive, whole and film of life, this mortal body? (Rom 8:11)

 

What if, “ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them (the demonic forces), because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world”? (1 Jn 4:4)

 

What if, instead of always looking for a refreshing river of God in which to drift along in life, we realized that “out of OUR BELLIES flow rivers of living water", because of the indwelling of Christ and Holy Spirit? (Jn 7:37-38)

 

What if… instead of believing that we are still awaiting promises to be fulfilled in our life, we actually had the understanding that “ALL the promises are yes and amen unto those who believe"? (2 Cor 1:20)….. That they have ALREADY BEEN GIVEN TO US? (2 Pet 1:4)

 

What if we actually believed that Christ… the Messiah… the Anointed One… The Deliverer… The Healer… the One Who Makes Whole… is IN US?... WE ARE HIS TEMPLE… HE RESIDES IN US. (Col 1:27)

 

This has never been about waiting for something external to happen to us…. It flows out of us!!!  

 

IT IS FINISHED!

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
