Acknowledging The Truth



 ACKNOWLEDGING THE TRUTH.

 

TRUTH.

 

What is truth? 

 

I have heard it said that one can not deny reality… what you see, touch, taste, smell, or otherwise engage with and experience.  But is that “reality" the TRUTH?

 

IT IS NOT ABOUT DENYING WHAT YOU SEE, BUT AFFIRMING WHAT YOU KNOW TO BE TRUE.

 

Truth has become arbitrary, determined by our experiences or who we believe to be a trusted source.  We rely on our five senses to relate truth.  We believe pain… we acknowledge symptoms… and we accept the prognosis of “professionals" prophesying over these temples purchased by The Most High, and submit to their statements as though TRUE.

 

Luke 17:20  The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: [it cannot be watched with the eyes]

 

2 Timothy 2:25–26  In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the ACKNOWLEDGING OF THE TRUTH;  And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

 

We oppose ourselves and get ensnared by the devil by believing everything this sense realm shouts.

 

The snare of the devil has always been “as a roaring lion" to steal the Word before it has a chance to reproduce “CHRIST IN YOU", THE SEED.

 

That SEED will reproduce His Resurrection Life in us.

 

Christ said, “ I AM The Way, THE TRUTH, and The Life…”

 

So… do we believe Him and what He believes, or do we acquiesce to everything else around us in this world that roars in protest to His belief system?

 

As a man… “thinketh in his heart, so is he.” (Pr 23:7)

 

TRUTH determines our reality.  What we BELIEVE TO BE TRUE shapes how we live.

 

So… is Our Creator lying,?

 

There comes a point we must decide whether what we receive through our senses is true… or what our Heavenly Father says and believes is TRUTH.

 

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: THY WORD IS TRUTH.

 

Eph 6:14  Stand therefore, having your loins (your power to produce) girt about with TRUTH …

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
