Your Mountains


 


And the Lord spake unto me, saying, Ye have compassed this mountain long enough....  Deut 2:2


As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that (I was sent): as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in. Now therefore give me this mountain...!!!!   Joshua 14:11

Isa 41:15  Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth:
Thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small,
And shalt make the hills as chaff.

...Prepare ye the way of the Lord,...
And every mountain and hill shall be made low....
And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed... Isa 40:3-5

Micah 6:1.  Hear ye now what the Lord saith;
Arise, contend thou before the mountains,
And let the hills hear thy voice.

So... speak to this mountain.... tell it to be removed and cast into the sea... do not doubt in your heart... and you SHALL HAVE whatsoever you say (Mk 11)

THEN.....

The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord,
At the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
Ps 97:5

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
