Your Genesis Face

Your Genesis Face.

Do you find yourself frustrated that you are not DOING THE WORD?

Do you find yourself, as Paul, saying,  “For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do”.(Rom 7:15)

The struggle begins as I look in the mirror and see all of shortcomings, flaw, and faults.

James 1:22–25  But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his NATURAL FACE in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

In the above verse it says that I look into the mirror, which is the Word, I see my own natural face.  The Greek word for “natural” here is “genesis".  So… I look into the mirror and see my genesis… what God created… my purpose… my lineage… and who I was made to be… BUT…  when I go from there, I immediately forget who I am.

THAT IS WHY I DO NOT DO THE WORD!

I will do who I believe I am.  I will act or react according to my perception of who I was created to be.  If I believe I was created as a son of the Living God, then I will naturally do the Word… cuz that is just who I am.

If the scriptures testify of Christ and who He is… and He is in you…. Then you are the manifestation of the Word of God on the Earth, as well.  You are a living epistle of Christ, known and read of all men (2 Cor 3:2).  You are created in Him unto good works (Eph 2:10)

REMEMBER YOUR GENESIS FACE… AND YOU WILL NATURALLY DO WHO YOU SEE YOURSELF TO BE.
