What Is It?



 WHAT IS IT?

 

 

Imagine…

Over 600,000 men with their wives, children, and flocks escape captivity into a desert wilderness. 

 

The enemy chased them down… 

the people feared… 

and complained. 

The Lord destroyed that army in the Red Sea so Israel could LIVE. . 

 

 

Then they had no water. 

They feared…. 

They complained. 

The Lord healed bitter waters so they could LIVE. 

 

 

By now they had wandered for a month and a half. 

Food ran out. 

They feared... 

They complained. 

 

Yahweh gave them instructions to LIVE…

 

 

Ex16:4AMP

"Behold, I will cause BREAD to rain from heaven for you; 

the people shall go out and gather A DAY’S PORTION EVERY DAY, 

so that I may test whether or not they will walk [obediently] in My instruction”

 

Ex16:13-16AMP

“When the layer of (morning) dew evaporated… there was a fine, flake-like thing… as frost on the ground. 

When the Israelites saw it, they said to one another… “manna”…

“WHAT IS IT?”

For they did not know what it was. 

And Moses said,

'Let every man gather as much of it as he needs’…”

 

 

In Lk11 the disciples said, “Lord, teach us to pray”

 

Lk11:2-3

So He said to them, "When you pray, say: ‘Our Father in heaven, 

Hallowed be Your name. 

Your kingdom come. 

Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. 

Give us THIS DAY

OUR DAILY BREAD…’”

 

 

Jn6:31-32,35

Our fathers ate manna (WHAT IS IT) in the desert; as it is written, 'He gave them BREAD from heaven to eat.'"  

Then Jesus said, “My Father gives you the TRUE BREAD from heaven... 

I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE.”

 

 

Jn6:57-58

As the living Father sent Me, 

and I live because of the Father, 

so he who feeds on Me 

will live because of Me. 

This is THE BREAD which came down from heaven…

not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. 

He who eats THIS BREAD will live forever."

 

 

SO… 

HOW DO WE LIVE?

 

 

Awaken DAILY with wonder…

…excited expectation…

Gathering ALL YOU NEED 

from ALL HE IS…

 

FOR THIS DAY!

 

LOOKING NEW AND FRESH 

at each circumstance…

At EVERY WORD He has spoken…

…AT HIM…

 

Saying, Lord,

 

TODAY…

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
