REDEEMED
DEEM AND REDEEM
DEEM:
To regard or consider in a specified way.

Originally, “DEEM” meant "TO LEGALLY CONDEMN."
The word is still frequently used pertaining to the law
meaning "to judge or decide after inquiry and deliberation,"
“REDEEM” means to release [set free (from the judgement, sentence, or condemnation)]
by paying the full ransom…
…restoring "something back, into the possession of its rightful owner;
rescuing from the power and possession of an alien possessor" (Wm. Barclay).
It is from a root word meaning “to discharge from prison”:
to untie, unshackle, unbind from chains…
to loose, release, dissolve, destroy, break (up), melt, take off, put off.
Gal3:13 “Christ hath REDEEMED us from the curse of the law…”

and purify unto himself a peculiar people...”
