Multiplied As Distributed

Yahweh, God doesn’t base His mandate on your current situation…

Nor think within our limitations… (Isa55:8-9)

He projects with HIS potential.

We often let our current resources determine when we start… or what we can accomplish… when HE asks us to do something.

“And God is able to make

ALL grace abound toward you;

that you,

ALWAYS having ALL sufficiency in ALL things,

may abound to EVERY good work.” (2Cor9:8)

Jesus Christ was teaching multitudes of people who had followed Him out into a desert place [just the men numbered 5000]   It was late in the day… no one had eaten. The disciples began to ask Christ to send them away to go find something to eat.

But HE said, “They need not depart;

YOU give them something to eat” (Mtt14:16)

The disciples began brainstorming how to feed everyone.

Andrew finally suggests, “There is a lad here, who has five barley loaves, and two small fish:

but what are they among so many?” (Jn6:9)

After everyone was seated, Jesus “…took the loaves,

blessed and broke and distributed to the disciples,

and the disciples to them that were set down…

(Mtt14:19)

THEY ALL ATE UNTIL THEY WERE FULL!!!

“and filled twelve baskets with the fragments” left over. (Jn6:12-13)

When did the fish and loaves multiply?

Was it when Christ touched it?…

When He blessed it?

If that was the case, could you imagine how many baskets the 12 disciples would’ve had to carry to feed 5000!!!?

Or… was it multiplied AS THEY DISTRIBUTED?

It was multiplied AS CHRIST DISTRIBUTED to the disciples…

And again AS THE DISCIPLES DISTRIBUTED to the people!

We often spend more time considering WHAT we DON’T HAVE…

Rather than considering WHO gave it to us.

Afraid of not having enough or getting more when needed,

We hold tight to what we have,

rather than being faithful to DISTRIBUTE what’s been given to us…

knowing…

“…my God shall supply ALL your need according to HIS RICHES in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Phil4:19)

SEE FROM HIS PERSPECTIVE!

Psalm 78:40–41 “How often they provoked Him in the wilderness,

And grieved Him in the desert!

Yes, again and again they tempted God,

AND LIMITED THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL.”
