Fountains of the Deep





   We keep asking Holy Spirit to come down, fill the room, anoint us, etc.  We sing songs inviting Him to be with us in this place… to rain down upon us.

 

Has the promise in the book of Joel of the former and latter rain coming at same time GOING TO HAPPEN?.... or…. Has it already happened?

 

Are we waiting for promises to be fulfilled ?... or… are ALL the promises of God “YES ” and “SO BE IT ” Unto those who believe?  (1 Cor 1:20)

 

Since we truly desire that the presence of the Spirit of the Lord flood the whole Earth… how does that happen?

 

How did the flood come about in the days of Noah?  Was it because RAIN CAME DOWN for 40 days and 40 nights?

 

Genesis 7:11 shows that something else opened up besides just the “windows of Heaven".

As the rains came down, the FOUNTAINS OF THE DEEP were opened up, as well.

 

John 7:38 He that believeth on me… OUT OF HIS BELLY SHALL FLOW RIVERS OF LIVING WATER. .

 

John 4:14 …The water that I shall give him shall be in him a WELL OF WATER SPRINGING UP into everlasting life.

 

Song of Solomon is a great picture book depicting how Christ even sees His Bride… how much He is enthralled by her… how deep His love is for her.

 

But…4:12 A garden inclosed is my sister, my spouse; a SPRING SHUT UP, a FOUNTAIN SEALED.

 

He then goes on to say what He believes about YOU… HIS BRIDE: “Thy plants are an orchard of pomegranates, with pleasant fruits; camphire, with spikenard, Spikenard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices: A FOUNTAIN of gardens, a WELL OF LIVING WATERS, and streams from Lebanon.”

 

SO… in verse 16 HE commands the winds, “BLOW UPON MY GARDEN, that the spices thereof may FLOW OUT. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits.”

 

HE has already commanded the wind and the rain… 

NOW… 

SPRING FORTH WELLSPRING OF LIVING WATERS!

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
