ENJOY THE PROCESS

 

 

“Thus says the LORD, who CREATED you, O Jacob,

And He who FORMED you, O Israel:” (Isa43:1)

 

 

Jacob and Israel are the same  person… except a transformational process transfigured him from one into the other. 

 

 

He was born as Jacob – supplanter/deceiver… but through various trials and encounters he was formed and fashioned into Israel – a prince of God. 

 

 

“The Lord sent a word into Jacob, 

and it has lighted upon Israel.” (Isa9:8)

 

 

Our Father sent you the promise while you were still Jacob… 

But He works that WORD in you,  transforming you into the fulfillment of that promise. 

 

 

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;

Before you were born I sanctified you;” (Jer1:5)

 

 

“…whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son…” (Rom8:29)

 

 

“My little children, for whom I am again in [the pains of] labor until CHRIST is [completely and permanently] FORMEDWITHIN YOU” (Gal4:19AMP)

 

 

“Till we all come… …unto a PERFECT man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:” (Eph4:11-13)

 

 

“…the testing of your faith produces patience.(hupomone- constant, cheerful, consistency) 

But let patience have her PERFECT work, that you may be PERFECT and entire, wanting nothing”. (Jas1:2-4)

 

 

“Be PERFECT, even as your Father which is in heaven is PERFECT” (Mtt5:48)

PERFECT: - teleios:  (consummated goal") – mature from going through the necessary stages fulfilling the process.  

[This root (tel-) means "reaching the end(aim)." 

It is well-illustrated with the old pirate's telescope, unfolding (extending out) one stage at a time to function at full-strength (capacity effectiveness).]

 

MATURITY – THE MEASURE OF THE STATURE OF THE FULNESS OF CHRIST

 

 

We are HIS workmanship. (Eph2:10)

 

 

“…who has saved us and called us… not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and GRACEwhich was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,” (2Tim1:9)

 

 

“For it is God who works in you, both to will and to do of His good pleasure” (Phil2:13)

 

 

“He who BEGAN a good work in you… will also COMPLETE it…” (Phil1:6)

 

 

He will make sure you get there.

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
