Kairos Season of Time


 


WHY WOULD I SET A FUTURE APPOINTMENT FOR SOMETHING ALREADY DONE?

 

 

“DO NOT SAY in your heart, 

·       ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down) [“oh, Jesus, please come and…”]

·       ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).”

·       It is Too difficult or mysterious 

·       It is FAR OFF or out of reach

·       It is beyond the sea that you should say, ‘Who will cross the sea for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may observe it?’

 

But what DO YOU SAY? 

“The WORD is near you, 

in your mouth 

and in your heart”—

that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,”

 (Rom10:6-8;Deut30:11-14)

 

 

Then God follows that up in Deut30:15,19 with, 

“See… I have set before you 

life and death, 

blessing and cursing: 

therefore choose life, 

that both thou and thy seed may live:

 

 

Deut30:11-18 even tells how to choose life. 

 

 

Do what Your Father says to do..,

And say what He says to say…

 

 

Is the promise still eluding me?

Or… has it come?

 

 

Am I trying to get healing and deliverance?

Or… by His stripes I WAS HEALED? (1Pet2:24)

 

 

Am I awaiting a manifestation 

Or… do I believe… and ALL the promises of God are yes and amen to me? (2Cor1:20)

 

 

Am I waiting to see it to believe it has happened?

 

 

“Let us not weary in well doing, 

for in due (uniquely one’s own) 

SEASON (kairos)

we will reap 

if we FAINT NOT.” (Gal6:9)

 

 

“NOW is the day of salvation (wholeness, health, deliverance, freedom)?

NOW is the accepted TIME (kairos)” (2Cor6:2)

 

 

The Greek word “kairos” translated above means:  ‘time as opportunity ("opportune time"); 

 

[derived from kara ("head") referring to things "coming to a head", taking full-advantage of.]

 

It is intended to paint a picture of:  

 

“taking full advantage of this 

fitting and favorable…

·       Season

·       Moment

·       Opportunity

·       Occasion

·       time.”

 

 

So… things have come to a head!

 

 

It is uniquely our time 

to take full advantage 

Of this season 

of healing, deliverance, wholeness, and life

Provided for us by Jesus Christ!

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
