Fear Is A Spirit


 


FEAR IS A SPIRIT

 

 

I have often heard that FEAR is the opposite of faith...

But, in reality… FEAR is the faith in the strength or power of something else other than our Heavenly Father.

 


Heb2:14—15 "...And deliver them who through FEAR OF DEATH were ALL THEIR LIFETIME SUBJECT TO BONDAGE."

 

“FEAR OF DEATH!”

…death of a relationship… death of a job… death of our finances (not having enough)… death of whatever it is we are in FEAR we'll fail at…

Consequently, we are in bondage to that relationship, job, etc

All the days of our life.

We won’t speak up or do what is right for FEAR that opportunity will die.

 


FEAR becomes LORD, dictating to you what you can or cannot do. This is not just an emotional issue... it is about whose right it is to rule and reign in your body... your life... that temple, bought and paid for by the price of the blood of Christ.

 

2Tim1:7 “For God hath not given us the SPIRIT OF FEAR; but of POWER, and of LOVE, and of a SOUND MIND.”

 

FEAR is called a "spirit" - a demonic entity.

It is not an innocuous feeling that we sometimes get, as though it is simply another emotion.

If it is a spirit, do we just deal with it? 

Do we just tolerate its existence?   

Do we continue to let it affect, not only our life, but the lives of everyone around us?

 

If FEAR is a spirit - a demonic being - why don't we treat it like any other demon, and

CAST IT OUT?

 

Why do we tolerate it dwelling in our lives, as though it is a part of who we are?

 

Rom8:15 “For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to FEAR; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.”

 

We are not to be in bondage to FEAR. 

Do not let FEAR reign! 

CAST IT OUT!


WE HAVE THE SPIRIT OF POWER… OF LOVE… OF A SOUND MIND.

 

THAT is the SPIRIT we are born of...

THAT is the SPIRIT who gives this body resurrection life...

THAT is the SPIRIT we represent!

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
