Blind Faith
BLIND FAITH?
Is there really such a thing?
Isn’t faith THE SUBSTANCE of whatever one is “hoping for”?
Isn’t it THE EVIDENCE of things “not seen”?
(Heb 11:1)
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Cor 5:7)
So… is faith “not seeing?...or blind?
If faith is THE SUBSTANCE… then I KNOW that whatever I would normally be hoping for is already there.
I am not waiting for a manifestation of “IT”…
I already have “IT”.
I don’t need any other proof or EVIDENCE… I already know what Christ believes about “it” and am assured without a doubt that I have “IT”!
I am not waiting until I see “IT”, feel “IT”, taste “IT”… nor observe “IT”in any other way.
I am not believing I have “IT” only AFTER the EVIDENCE of the symptom is NOT SEEN.
I am not awaiting a “good report” from doctors, friends, or any other third party…
THE VOICE that shakes both Heaven and Earth has spoken, “IT IS FINISHED!”
…and I believe HIS REPORT.
Christ, speaking to the religious folk said,
“The kingdom of God cometh not with OBSERVATION:
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there!
for, behold,
the kingdom of God is WITHIN YOU.” (Lk 17:20-21)
FAITH is NEVER used as a verb.
FAITH IS A NOUN.
… a person, place or thing.
So… not only is FAITH the substance…
And evidence.
It is a PLACE
from which I now SEE all of life
FAITH is how we SEE everything while SEATED IN CHRIST at the right hand of the Father in Heavenly places
Faith is the PERSPECTIVE of Christ… and I am now SEEING life from what He has already done and HIS POINT OF VIEW
So… faith is NOT BLIND.
FAITH IS SEEING FROM A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE…
…a particular VANTAGE POINT.
…a CERTAIN PLACE
…IN CHRIST.
1Cor2:16 says that “WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST.”
So… “LET this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus” (Phil2:5)
…allow yourself to think like Christ..
TO SEE HOW HE SEES…
to know how it TRULY IS…
from THE VANTAGE POINT of a Kingdom
WHERE HE RULES!.
