             FAITH VS FEAR

 

Have you noticed we are continually bombarded with voices and information?

 

They tell us, “eat this… don't eat that… watch out for BPA’s… take antioxidants to ward off cancer… avoid purines for gout… eat these oils… take this to heal… consume that to avoid diabetes… use this cookware to prevent Altzheimer’s… don't reheat these foods, it'll cause… WHATEVER!”

 

 

1Cor14:10KJV “There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world...”

 

 

I remember as a child on a hot summer day, turning on ANY spigot, and drinking from the garden hose... not thinking about bacteria, germs, bugs, disease, etc

... and that was BEFORE I knew anything about the WORD OF GOD

and His covenant of life and health with us 

 

 

Ahhhhhh... THAT’S why the continual onslaught…

                …NOW… I have the WORD.

 

 

After the WORD OF GOD is sown into your heart, why does Satan IMMEDIATELY come?

 

                …TO STEAL THE WORD! (Mk4:15)

 

 

And why does persecution, affliction, cares of this world, deceitfulness of riches, and the caring about all this stuff come? 

                …FOR THE WORD’S SAKE! (Mk4:16-19)

 

 

He wants to nullify, minimize, steal… pull you back into a tradition… or bind you to a law... using any scheme he can devise to make the WORD OF GOD of NO EFFECT in your life. (Mk7:13)

 

 

…We have built a Babel Tower of information which was supposed to lead to truth

…only to find more confusion...

…with THE TRUTH (Jesus Christ) being lost as a still small voice amidst the roar of battle

for the focus your heart. 

 

 

Why not simply receive the food we have in front of us as from the Lord... bless it... and then eat it with thanksgiving instead of FEAR? (1Tim4:1-4)

 

 

Rom14:23NKJV “But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from FAITH; for whatever is not from FAITH is sin.”

 

·         FEAR slowly chips away at your foundation of FAITH... your perspective of seeing life as seated in Christ at the right hand of the Father. 

 

·         FEAR keeps you fixated on and in bondage under THE ELEMENTS OF THE WORLD” (Gal4:3NKJV)

 

·         And that FEAR OF DEATH keeps us subject to bondage all the days of our life. (Heb2:14-15)

 

 

What is YOUR MOTIVATING FACTOR… FEAR OR FAITH?

 

 

I've heard it said, "Oh... but you have to be wise..."

 

…But isn't that what caused the fall in the garden?

 

Gen3:6NKJV Eve saw THAT tree was “DESIRABLE TO MAKE ONE WISE” and she ate.

                And gave to her husband with her… and he ate.

 

AND… yes… your eyes ARE opened… Only to see you are actually naked. 

 

 

WE WERE BORN TO LIVE BY FAITH!

 

FAITH is the substance and evidence (Heb11:1)…not science

 

 

We are sons of the living God!

 

We live “BY EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD” (Deut8:3)

 

 

 

WE ALREADY HAVE A SAVIOR.

 

                What does HE believe?

 

                                Gal2:20KJV “…the life which I now live in the flesh

I live by THE FAITH 

OF THE SON OF GOD…”
