THE VOICE

 

Did you know that we can't even come to Jesus Christ unless the Father draws us? (Jn6:44)

 

 

He believes we are already there WITH HIM. 

 

 

When He says, "come up here"... and "Come Away", it is always inferred – if not actually stated –“WITH ME”!

He is shifting our way of thinking from “trying to get someplace we already are”... to thanking Him that He chose us... loved us first... and living in THAT belief... THAT perspective... THAT FAITH... dwelling WITH HIM in THAT place of rest and peace... THAT PLACE OF LIFE... 

                … “for IN HIM we live and move and have our being” (Acts17:28NKJV)

 

…We live IN what we believe. 

 

 

If the enemy continues to convince us we are still outside looking in... then we live continually striving, working, trying to get a love WE ALREADY HAVE in Christ. 

                “HE MADE US ACCEPTED in the Beloved” (Eph1:6NKJV)

 

 

But if we believe that Christ is the one standing at the door of our heart and knocking... I simply let Him in… and finally receive all He has promised. 

 

Rev3:20TPT “Behold, I’m standing at the door, knocking. If your heart is open to HEAR MY VOICE and you open the door within, I will come in to you and feast with you, and you will feast with me.”

 

 

Why do we find it so easy to hear THE VOICE of the accuser that says we don't have IT…

…THE VOICE of the serpent that says,

"You don't hear GOD’S VOICE... Has He REALLY said THAT?"

 

 

Why is it so hard to believe THE VOICE behind you that says, "this is THE WAY, walk in IT" (Isa30:21)?

 

 

Which VOICE has more POWER to us...?

THE VOICE that condemns and says you need to DO SOMETHING...?

 

....or THE VOICE that says: 

·         "I chose you” (Jn15:16)... 

·         I ripped up the curtain... Giving you direct access to ME by a new and living way (Heb10:20)...

·         You are resurrected with Me (Rom6:4)...

·         You are seated with Me (Eph2:6)...

·         You are loved by Me... FIRST (1Jn4:19)...

·         I chose to dwell in you by my Spirit, and I will never leave you nor forsake you (Mtt28:20)...

·         all the work is done... you are perfect IN ME.(Heb10:14)...

·         IT IS FINISHED!" (Jn19:30)...????

 

 

THE VOICE we believe is the one to which we give power...

…and by that choice...

…THE OTHER VOICE…

…becomes a foreigner to us. (1Cor14:11)

 

 

Do we believe THE VOICE that shakes us up for a little while... or THE VOICE that shakes both Heaven and Earth? (Heb12:26)

 

 

You are My sheep (Eze34:31)

 

 

(Jn10:1-17) AND… as MY sheep… you DO HEAR MY VOICE...

 

 

…and THE VOICE of a stranger YOU WILL NOT FOLLOW!

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
