GOD INFUSED

 

Did you know that the term “I WILL” is not directly translatable from the Hebrew in the Old Testament?

 

Even though a lot of the promises of YHWH are stated as “I WILL” do this… or “I WILL” do that, our English language barely scratches the surface on the depth of what the original language conveyed.

 

 

For instance… in Isa41:10NKJV reads:

 

"Fear not, for I am with you;

be not dismayed, for I am your God;

·         I WILL strengthen you,

·         I WILL help you,

·         I WILL uphold you with my righteous right hand."

 

 

The “I WILL” in each case is "tika", which isn't a standalone word for “I WILL”, but rather part of verb forms ending in "-ti" (תִּי) A first-person singular suffix meaning "I” [did something]"…

combined with “-ka” (ךָ): A second-person singular suffix meaning "YOU”

 

 

Hence “I YOU”… I DIRECTLY TO YOU!

            “I INFUSED YOU”

 

·         amats-ti-ka, "I will strengthen you" is “I INFUSED YOU WITH STRENGTH”

·         azar-ti-ka “I will help you”, or “I INFUSED YOU WITH HELP”

·         tamak-ti-ka “I will uphold you with my righteous right hand

“I INFUSED YOU WITH MY MY RIGHTEOUS RIGHT HAND WHICH UPHOLDS YOU”

 

It is not something GOD is going to do… nor is promising to do someday in the future…

            It is something HE HAS ALREADY DONE!

 

 

We often quote Phi4:13NKJV: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

 

 

But read it in the Amplified Classic:

“I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me

[I am ready for anything and equal to anything

through HIM WHO INFUSES inner strength INTO ME;

I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency].”

 

 

It is CHRIST WHO INFUSES YOU with dunamis…

explosive, miraculous power-ability…

[the word from which we get dynamite]

…which definitely destroys the work of the devil (1Jn3:8)

 

 

Rom8:11KJV “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also QUICKEN your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

 

Quicken - zōopoiéō ("make alive, enliven") is particularly used of GOD INFUSING HIS ETERNAL LIFE (zōē) into us. (BibleHub WordHelps)

 

 

Because YHWH INFUSED YOU

Isa4:11-13 continues:

 

“Behold, all those who are angered at you

will be shamed and dishonoured;

those who contend with you will be as nothing and will perish.

You will seek those who quarrel with you, but will not find them,

those who war with you will be as nothing and non-existent.

For I am YHWH your God who takes hold of your right hand,

who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I WILL HELP YOU’ [azar-ti-ka]”

 

 

 

YOU… ARE… GOD INFUSED…

with His Strength… His Help… His Hand… His Spirit… His Power…

HIS LIFE!

            “I AM” DIRECTLY INTO YOU

CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”.
