The Gospel of The Kingdom


 


THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM

 

 

What did Jesus Christ preach?

 

 

“…Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.” (Mtt4:23)

 

“…Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.” (Mtt9:35)

 

 

What Jesus Christ said concerning the “Good News of the Kingdom:

 

“…this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” (Mtt24:14)

 

 

In the Revelation of Jesus Christ to John in chapter 12 verses 7-10  it says:

 

“And there was war in heaven: …And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.  And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, NOW is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night”

 

 

Good News!!!

 

The ruler of darkness has been cast down!

 

We are under a different King!

…and His Kingdom is at hand. 

 

“…behold, NOW is the accepted time; behold, NOW is the day of salvation.” (2Cor6:2)

 

“…the Father… HATH DELIVERED US from the power of darkness, and HATH TRANSLATED US into the kingdom of his dear Son.” (Col1:12-13)

 

“…as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. (Mtt10:7-8)

 

“…Jesus came and spake unto them, saying,

All power is given unto me 

in heaven and in earth. 

 

GO YE THEREFORE...” (Mtt28:18-19)

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
