Restoring The Years


 

RESTORING THE YEARS

 

2 Corinthians 1:20 “For ALL THE PROMISES of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.”

 

He didn’t pick and choose which ones may or may not apply toward you.  ALL THE PROMISES OF GOD in Him are YES, and SO BE IT, unto the glory of God by us.

 

2 Peter 1:3. According as his divine power HATH GIVEN unto us ALL THINGS that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.

 

The Old Covenant is filled with promises that are now fulfilled in the New as a big YES!

 

IT IS FINISHED!

 

Take a look at one of those promises we may use as a weapon in this warfare (1 Tim 1:18) as a prophecy that has gone on before concerning us:

Joel 2:25–26 “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.”

 

Romans 10:11 …”Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.”

 

NOTE:  It says that He will RESTORE THE YEARS… not just the stuff… stolen from you… eaten away… and destroyed by this army.  Years have been gobbled up by pain, discouragement, frustration, sickness, and just waiting for something or someone to save us from this.

 

BUT…

 

WE HAVE A SAVIOR!  

OUR MESSIAH CAME! 

WE HAVE BEEN HEALED, DELIVERED, MADE FREE, MADE WHOLE….. SAVED!

 

Jeremiah 39:18  “For I will surely deliver thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sword, but THY LIFE shall be (given) for a prey (booty, spoils of war) unto thee: because thou hast put thy trust in me, saith the LORD.”

 

Matthew 17:11–12 “Jesus answered and said unto them, 

Elias truly shall first come, 

and RESTORE ALL THINGS. 

But I say unto you, 

That ELIAS IS COME ALREADY.”

 

ALL THINGS ARE RESTORED TO YOU… INCLUDING YOUR YEARS!

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
