Loose Him and Let Him Go


 


Christ did not just die for you… He died AS YOU…. With you.

He took YOU… with  ALL of your insecurities, issues, failures, faults, shortcomings, sickness, disease, pain…to the cross… AND YOU DIED WITH HIM!

  

“I am crucified with Christ…” (Gal 2:20)

 

NOW HE WAS RESURRECTED AS YOU…

 

NOT just “FOR  YOU”… AS YOU.  

 

YOU ARE RESURRECTED!

 

He didn’t leave you dead in the tomb, “we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so WE ALSO SHOULD WALK IN NEWNESS OF LIFE.” (Rom 6:4)

 

 

Colossians 2:12  Buried with him in baptism, wherein also RISEN WITH HIM through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

 

 

Ephesians 2:5–6 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together WITH CHRIST, (by grace ye are saved;)  AND HATH RAISED US UP TOGETHER, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

 

 

A lot of us have been like Lazarus in John 11.  We have been dead for awhile now and have begun to stink.

 

 

But Christ has already declared with a loud voice, “COME FORTH!”

 

 

WE HAVE BEEN RESURRECTED IN HIM… WITH HIM.

 

Now… I don’t know how Lazarus got out of the tomb… he was still wrapped up in all of the grave clothes.  It says that he was BOUND hand and foot… his face was even bound!

 

 

So… how did he get out of the tomb?

 

 

Maybe he hopped… or crawled… or did the worm…

 

 

But it says, “he that was dead came forth.”

 

 

Christ then said to the people who were standing and watching nearby…

 

 

[YOU] “Loose him, and let him go.” (Jn 11:44)

 

You died with Christ.

 

Now you live with Him.

 

But, for some reason you still feel wrapped with all the trappings of your old life.  You are still bound and restricted, and  just standing outside the tomb looking and smelling like death.

 

As one who is standing by…

 

RIGHT NOW…

 

I LOOSE YOU AND LET YOU GO!!!

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
