In The Year That King Uzziah Died




IN YHE YEAR THAT KING UZZIAH DIED

 

A lot of times our mind gets focused on the wrong things. We begin to think that a job…  relationships… a gifting or calling… a living situation…a doctrine… even a ministry is the strength of Yahweh. We get so attuned to just that particular part that we leave out the main ingredient…. The relationship with THE GIVER. 

 

We have created a false image to take the place of our FIRST LOVE… and have set it up as a likeness of what the “Strength of Jah” looks like to us. 

 

An idea or perception has taken the place of the real relationship with the Living God… the Breath of Life..  the Vine and we begin to have a “form of godliness, denying the POWER THEREOF” (2Tim2:5)

 

Uzziah means “my strength and power is Jehovah”…. Or…more simply… “the strength of Jah”

 

Peter began to sink in the storm when he took his eyes off Jesus Christ and onto the waves. (Mtt14:30)

 

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith” (Heb12:2)

 

 

“In the year that king Uzziah died…

I SAW THE LORD…

sitting upon a throne…

high and lifted up, 

and his train filled the temple.” (Isa6:1)

 


So… in the year that I saw everything I thought was the strength of my God die… 

 

I finally saw the Lord – the ONLY ONE  with right of decision

 


HE, ALONE is seated upon a throne.

 


HE, ALONE is high and lifted up.

 


 All of my circumstances, situations, and problems are no longer in a place of prominence. 

 

All of my dreams, desires, and ambitions fade in the light of His majesty, power, and dominion. 

 

I realize I was born to simply reflect HIS GLORY… 

showing the world my Father and demonstrating His Kingdom. 

 

That… “as He IS… so am I in this world”. (1Jn4:17)

 


Once I get the perspective back 

 

of being seated with Christ in heavenly places, on His throne…

 

IN HIM…

 

THEN…

 


His train – His Glory…

 

 

FILLS THIS TEMPLE once again

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
