FULLY PERSUADED


 


KEYS TO WINNING BATTLES:

 

Another great key is: being FULLY PERSUADED.

 

Literal translation of the Greek word:  

·       to wear as clothing and constant accompaniment the complete assurance that all was entirely accomplished.

 

IT IS FINISHED!

 

When you wear a constant assurance of the outcome, you position yourself and war from a place of peace and rest.  

 

When Christ spoke, He didn’t Speak as one trying to get authority… He spoke as one HAVING AUTHORITY!  He wasn’t attempting to convince anyone he had authority… HE WAS FULLY PERSUADED that he had it and spoke accordingly.

 

Romans 4:19–21  (Abraham) being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:  He STAGGERED NOT at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;  And being FULLY PERSUADED that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

 

When you are FULLY PERSUADED, you STAGGER NOT.

 

…….STAGGER NOT is also translated “DOUBT”.  

 

Mark 11:23 … whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not DOUBT in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

 

It means to “ hesitate and judiciously weigh each option”

 

It is the same word translated “JUDGE” in 1 Cor14:29 “ Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other JUDGE.”.

 

 

When I get my mind renewed to the fact that I don’t have to figure it all out… 

I wont keep partaking of that same old Tree of the Knowledge of Good… and Evil.  

I will move by the Tree of Life into Whom I have been engrafted… 

being unshakeable and immovable, 

directed by life and peace. 

I constantly bear the assurance of the fulfillment of all the promises of my Heavenly Father, 

not warring in my mind again.

 

Since IT IS FINISHED, I will walk and speak with authority throughout my stand in any battle… 

 

being FULLY PERSUADED!

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
