According To Your Faith



 “ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH

BE IT UNTO YOU.”

 

 

WOW, that seems like a tough saying!

 

In fact, we almost take it as condemnation.

 

 

However, in Mtt9:29 THIS IS CHRIST TALKING!!!

…and He used it as a POSITIVE statement!

 

 

 

FAITH is the actuator for everything in the kingdom.

 

 

Heb11:1AMP “Now FAITH is the assurance (title deed, confirmation] of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality

[FAITH IS PERCEIVING as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].”

 

 

REMINDER: FAITH IS NEVER USED AS A VERB!

It is a noun… a person, place, or thing.

 

It is not a performance or something you do.

 

It is a PLACE from which you see all of life… a perspective you have because you are IN CHRIST,

SEATED at the right hand of the Father… (Eph1:20;Col3:1)

 

…SEATED! …a PLACE of rest.

…not fighting to attain something but convinced you have been given ALL THINGS pertaining unto LIFE AND GODLINESS. (2Pet1:3)

 

 

THEN… what is FAITH?

…A PERSPECTIVE.

 

 

Mk10:52 “And Jesus said unto him, Go your way; YOUR FAITH has made you WHOLE. And immediately he received his SIGHT”

 

Lk17:19 “Arise, go your way: YOUR FAITH has made you WHOLE.”

 

Lk8:48 “Daughter… YOUR FAITH has made you WHOLE.”

 

The word, “WHOLE” is the Greek word, “SOZO”:- to be healed, set free, delivered, get on well, prosper, BE (MAKE) WHOLE.

 

 

“SOZO” is most translated “SAVED”.

 

Lk18:42 recounts Mk10:52 interchanging “made you WHOLE” for “’YOUR FAITH has SAVED you.’ And immediately he received his sight.”

 

Rom10:9 “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, YOU SHALL BE SAVED.”

 

Lk7:50 “YOUR FAITH has SAVED you; go in peace.”

 

 

 

AND… HOW ARE WE SAVED (SOZO)?

 

…BY GRACE… THROUGH FAITH. (Eph2:8)

 

“…be transformed by the renewing of your mind…

God has dealt to every man THE MEASURE OF FAITH.” (Rom12:2-3)

 

 

We NOW have the MIND OF CHRIST (1Cor2:16)

 

We see everything from HIS VANTAGE POINT.

 

 

So… “let His mind be in you” (Phil 2:5)

 

Think how HE thinks…

 

“The life that I now live…

…I LIVE BY THE FAITH OF the Son of God.” (Gal2:20)

 

 

 

According to how you think in your heart… (Pr23:7)

 

According to how you view the fulfilled promises…

 

According to where you are seated with Christ (Eph2:6) and NOW see life…

 

According to YOUR FAITH…

 

…BE IT UNTO YOU!

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”.
