A Word For The Body of Christ
Word for the Body of Christ
I have spoken to you various things in times past
and you said, “Let it be unto me according to Thy Word, Oh Lord”
…and because of your willing and ready obedience, I overshadowed you and
you conceived in the womb of your heart.
Now you have carried these promises for months, even years, and have become weary of being pregnant.
You are, as it were, in the third trimester
and have even wondered if it would ever come to pass...
even wondered if what I promised was true...
or even if it was Me.
"How long, Oh Lord?“, you have asked.
You feel as though you could give up…
…and you are tired of carrying a promise that has become
heavy,
uncomfortable,
and - at times - burdensome.
Do not let it be said of you, "the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.” (Isa 37:3)
Strengthen yourself, Oh daughter of Zion.
"Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope:
even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee;" (Zech 9:12)
Turn back to the Word that I spoke to you in the beginning...
the seed that conceived in you the joy of your expectancy…
and I will bring forth in you what I have promised.
I will produce through you an Ephraim - a double portion... a double blessing.
You have entered into transition.
The third trimester is over and the birth pangs have begun.
You are now laboring to bring forth and the body is setting up for the final push.
The baby has moved its way down the birth canal.
The pressure of the head has thinned out the uteral membrane,
and you are beginning to dialate....
Involuntarily your body is shifting gears to push the baby into visible existence.
Because of the time and the position of the baby,
you feel more pressure than you ever have before in your life.
And even though it is the shortest period of time in pregnancy,
it is the time of the most pain, pressure, frustration, and confusion.
You are in labor now...
but it is a labor to enter into My rest.
It is almost time to push... but not yet.
It is almost time to see the end of your expectancy,
but not yet.
Remember what I have spoken and trust Me.
(Isa 46:11)
“I have spoken it,
I will also bring it to pass;
I have purposed it,
I will also do it.“
Many times before out of frustration you have tried to bring forth what I have promised.
You have pushed and pushed,
…only to bring forth wind or works of the flesh that have never produced after
me,
but have faded away with time,
lost their breath of life,
and have died. (Isa 26:18)
But now is the fulness of time.
Now is the time that I will cause to come forth what was promised.
I will not let what I have spoken fall to the ground and die.
“Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD:
shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.” (Isa 66:9)
So turn back to the word of life that conceived in you the joy of your expectancy.
War according to the prophecies that went before on thee.
Strengthen yourself for the birth and you shall bring forth with joy those things that I have spoken to you,
For my words [will not] be prolonged any more,
but the word which I have spoken shall be done,
saith the Lord GOD. (Eze 12:28)
The greatest pain and work of the whole pregnancy is right now...
but it doesn't last long.
The promised and expected seed is almost here.
Soon you shall see with your own eyes what was promised.
Soon you shall see the end of your faith.
