Will He Find Faith?

WILL HE FIND FAITH?

“When the Son of Man comes, will He find FAITH on the earth?” – JESUS CHRIST (Lk18:8)

FAITH, as defined by the world in the Oxford Dictionary is:

“complete trust or confidence in someone or something.”

What is the main reason we do not completely trust someone?

WE DO NOT KNOW THEM!

Or… maybe we DO KNOW THEM, and THAT is the problem… they are not trustworthy.

It almost always boils down to an experiential relationship with that person… and the depth or intimacy of it.

The more we know someone, the better we know how they think, how they respond to situations, what their integrity is…

We know their character, their nature… even their very perspective on life.

Why else would Jesus Christ say, “depart from me, I NEVER KNEW YOU” to people who were supposedly doing works for Him? (Mtt7:21-23)

I can copy someone’s works without knowing them.

BUT… to do the WILL of the ONE WHO SENT THEM…

You have to know the thought, intent, purpose and motive behind what they say and do.

YOU HAVE TO KNOW THEM.

YOU KNOW THEIR HEART.

It is great that The Bible gives its own definition of FAITH.

Hebrews 11:1 “Now FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

FAITH is THE substance and evidence… NOW!

It is how Our Heavenly Father operates.

“…who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.”  (Rom4:17)

In the beginning the Earth had no form…

void of anything…

and dark…

But Yahweh God said,

“LIGHT BE!”

…and there was!

He demanded what He knew was to be… and it was. (Gen1:2-25)

We are made in HIS likeness and image. (Gen1:26-27)

…seated at the right hand of the Father in Heavenly places in Christ.

…intimately wrapped up in Him, and He in us.

we see from His perspective.

“For in him we live, and move, and have our being.” (Acts17:28)

We now act and speak boldly with unwavering confidence from His heart…

What He said He believes is to be.
