Outside Looking In


 

OUTSIDE LOOKING IN

 

 

For some reason we believe we are on the OUTSIDE LOOKING IN to the Kingdom of God. 

 

We try everything we know to do to GET IN “where the blessings flow”… to get healed… to prosper… to get on well… to just BE WHOLE!

 

 

A friend of mine responded to a text last week,,”Yes we are on the inside looking out, not on the outside looking in!!… It feels different in here!! 😄”  (Thanks, Pat)

 

 

It DOES feel different IN HERE!

 

 

…WHEN WE FINALLY BELIEVE WE ARE IN HERE!

 

 

All of the pressure and anxiety to “GET IN” is gone…

Ahhhh… peace and rest. 

You can breathe again…

You can just live… 

and NOW…

…HAVE THAT LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY! (Jn10:10)

 

 

…not because you are trying to…

 

 

BUT BECAUSE…

YOU ARE THERE… in HIS presence… amongst His blessings… dwelling in the inheritance already yours IN HIM

 

 

We see life from our seat with Christ at the right hand of the Father in Heavenly places  (Eph2:6)

 

 

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who HAS BLESSED us with ALL spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as HE HAS CHOSEN US  in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love” (Eph1:3-4)

 

 

“…His divine power HAS GRANTED to us EVERYTHING pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.” (2Pet1:3)

 

 

“He HAS GRANTED to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature,  (2Pet1:4)

 

 

“behold, the kingdom of God IS WITHIN YOU.” (Lk17:21)

 

 

PROBLEM:  The “good news” does not profit the hearer because it is not mixed with faith. (Heb4:2)

 

 

“YOU HAVE NOT CHOSEN ME… I HAVE CHOSEN YOU!”  (Jn15:16)

 

 

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me”. (Rev3:20)

 

 

We’re not “knock knock knocking on heaven’s door” trying to get in. 

 

 

He’s knocking on OUR door!

FORMING YOUR WORLD

  Forming Your World     Have you been in a place in life where you feel like your world has no form, reason, nor rationale to it… like it is void of meaning or direction… and it seems like the darkness is so deep and thick that you not only can't see, but are so disoriented you have no clue as to which way is up?     How do you get out of THAT?     Gen1:1-2 describes just that scenario, but on a grand universal scale: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. CONVICTION

  CONVICTION   I have frequently heard the phrase, “the Holy Spirit CONVICTED me”… or… “I was CONVICTED by the Lord”.  As a young boy I was taught that God was this big eye in the sky continually watching to see if I was being good… and the Holy Spirit, being on my shoulder, would  speak in my ear to bring that guilt… shaming me back to the right path.the moment I stepped out of line   But… why did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to us?     In  Jn16:7 Christ calls the Holy Spirit “ THE COMFORTER ”. He uses the term, “ parakletos ”, which was used in NT times of an  attorney (lawyer)… someone  giving evidence that stands up in court .   It comes from two words: “ para ” (close-beside), and “ kaleo ” (make a call).
